A sweet treat I was very happy to try out. If you’re looking for something different, and have a sweet tooth which just needs to be satisfied, then this candy bar is for you! Definitely worth the leap of faith in buying something different. I don’t believe he will be Dissatisfied

Delicious chocolate

I purchased these mostly for the novelty of trying the world's oldest chocolate bar, I'm not much of a fan of chocolate cremes to be honest. However, I rather liked these, they have a certain simplicity to them which is refreshing.As for flavor, the dark chocolate contrasts well with the fondant. I personally think the chocolate could be a little darker, as I found the bars a touch sweet, but I prefer blander food in general. It is a harder chocolate and reasonably snappy, which I like.In mine, the cream filling tended to be seep through fractures in the bottom of the bar, leaving it sticky, and such that when I tried to break the bar into its natural divisions, it broke into irregular bits. Refrigerating or freezing the bar ahead of time avoided some of this.I might order these from time to time, if I can get them at a good price. I would at least like to try some of the alternate flavors. Although they were interesting, they didn't disappear as quickly as most candy does in my household. I would definitely recommend trying them at least once.

The product came in excellent condition and was eaten immediately

I was fascinated to try what is written as "the oldest candy bar brand still in existence." It isn't bad but too sweet for me. It taste like York Peppermint Patties minus the mint as this one has cream inside. The cream doesn't have a distinctive flavor. Over all, this taste good, but for me personally, it is too sweet.

I previously left a negative review because the product was melted. However, after a day in the fridge, they are the best candy bar I've ever eaten. Changing to 5 stars.

So was concerned after ordering to discover this chocolate was coming from the UK! In Florida you’re lucky if your chocolate makes it home from the store in the summer months, let alone from the UK. Well, let me say it arrived, the package said to immediate refrigerate for a couple of hours and voila! They were right! Unfortunately, didn’t think to take a pic as between grown children, grandchildren, then me these bars did not last long 😎👍Highly recommend this seller!
