I’ve ordered this three times now and overall really like it, but with some constraints. It moisturizes well and isn’t overly heavy or greasy. I notice a difference right away too. It generally brightens and I don’t look as tired at the end of the day. Each time I’ve gotten it, I’ve caught my reflection unexpectedly at the end of the day and thought, “oh wow, something’s different!” Lol. That being said, it’s always when I’ve started a new jar that this happens, so it is really at its best when you first open the jar. For that reason I apply generously to my face, neck, and hands to get through it quickly. I know they have a larger size, but I definitely wouldn’t go any bigger than this size, and would even consider only getting the smaller one (at a price per ounce increase), because by the end of this jar, it still moisturizes well, but that brightening/awake/evenness effect on my skin just isn’t there anymore.I also had to stop using it in the mornings under my makeup. It made my foundation flake off, which hasn’t been an issue with other moisturizers but is with this one. So while I get that brightening/evening effect at the beginning, I still want my makeup application to last, particularly as that effect wears off as I get further into the jar.Overall it’s good enough to make me want to keep purchasing, and is worth the money IMO. I would definitely recommend if you don’t wear makeup or only want a light nighttime moisturizer that isn’t too heavy.

Great moisturizer! I have been using this moisturizer for about 2 months now and I must say it feels wonderful. I use it in the morning and then apply a sunscreen to follow. My skin feels as moisturized as the $80.jar that I used to use but for less than half the price. I am a middle aged woman who has tried to take good care of my skin and have consistently used good products at the major department stores. However, I love the fact that I no longer have to fight the traffic at a mall and can receive this products in the mail, most of the time in a few days. Moreover, I am saving money and finding some wonderful crèmes consistent with this Hope in a Jar. This crème feels so nice on and now I will be a loyal customer of this product.Another product which I use is the Radha Beauty Miracle Retinal Crème, which I use at night. Together these two products are wonderful, for at least a third of the price that I was paying for my prior crèmes and moisturizes. I love the simplicity of Amazon Beauty as the products are shipped to my home & it makes my life easier. I have done some personal research pertaining to ingredients and now I read reviews from other women (some men) and then select the crème, which seem applicable to my needs. Of course, it takes some time but in the long run I have been really happy with my new moisturizes. An added benefit is I have received numerous comments on how good my skin looks! .

Incredible moisturizer! It’s every bit as good as some of the Elemis moisturizers I use or Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream that I use or any of the Sunday Riley skin creams I use. It’s just different creams have different purposes. I use this cream along with my vitamin C in suspension cream during the day and along with my spf. Sometimes I’ll use it in conjunction with a nighttime skin cream. Feels wonderful on the skin. Spreads easily, sinks in doesn’t feel greasy. Great to use all alone as well.

Really like this product. Not greasy but ads just the right amount of moisture to my skin. Just turned 36 this year and starting to notice fine lines and sun damage. Been using this for a few weeks and I do see a subtle difference in fine lines and my skin feels softer. For the past few years I've struggled with adult hormonal acne which seems to flare up each month around my monthly gift with 8-10 small pimples on my chin or around my hair line. I've been using the same cleanser for a few months with little improvement, until I started RHIAJ. I'm not exactly sure why this is also helping my acne, perhaps the pore reduction reduces dirt and gunk, maybe it's the alpha hydroxy acids, adding moisture back so I'm making less oils, not sure what it is, but it is helping me, so I'll continue to use. My 14 year old daughter even commented that my skin looked better and she uses pro-active and asked if she could just use whatever fixed my skin.

Renewed hope in a jar is thicker than the regular Hope in a Jar, more perfumy kind of like how it was before they reformulated but more lavendar and less mediciney. I dont love how thick it is, but I get the same result. Still the only thing i have tried that doesnt make me break out.

I’ve been using this product for years. I like that it is not at all greasy and It absorbs quickly leaving my face feeling moisturized. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make me look any younger. I think that it is overpriced but, it feels good, so I keep buying it.

This stuff is simply awesome. I use the day time formulation overnight because I don't have very dry skin and I don't like to wear a day time moisturizer. I've used many other expensive products including Clinique, Clarins, Ole Henriksen and Shiseido and Renewed HIAJ beats them all as far as moisturizing and leaving my skin feeling like SILK. Truly, I have never had skin that felt so nice. I don't have any wrinkles yet, so I can't comment on whether it's effective for that or not. Another thing I like is the very delicate fragrance - it's a nice, soft fragrance that is on par with other fragrances that Philosophy uses. It dissapates quickly and is not overpowering. Also, the product is not greasy and it doesnt "pill up" like some moisturizers do. This product is a bit pricey but it lasts several months. Lastly, it did not make me break out as sometimes happens when I try a new product.Please let me know if you found this review helpful! Thanks!!!

In my late 50s I've found I need more moisturizer than I needed not all that long ago. This moisturizer is thinner than I expected would work, but surprisingly it does. In the dry winter I occasionally need to add another moisturizer to the drier areas of my face, but the rest of the year it works perfectly. My skin does look brighter and healthier as well.

My friend recommended it so I thought why not to give it a go after checking the information promoted here and at its official website. The level of moisturisation wasnt as expected when I was in a room with the heater on. In addition, somehow it led to some skin flakes that made it very difficult to put foundation and makeup on...I stopped using it.

really helped with radiance and made my skin soft and smooth. definitely will buy again... Hope I have tried this earlier! Comparing 2 of my favourites: Cerave is good with recover skin damage but Hope in a Jar is better at treating inflammation and boost radiance

Always my choice of night cream. Can’t stand strongly perfumed face creams. This is perfect. Leaves my skin soft. Great product.

Lovely light cream .You will seem a glow after first use.Smells great too.
