I was skeptical when buying this because of the few bad reviews I've seen, but I'm so glad I bought it anyway !! The packaging was very nice, no damage at all although I got the ''your package may be lost'' message for a day or two .. it arrived just before Christmas day. It was a day late but I didn't mind.It came with a fluffy storage bag for the straightener, two hair clips for layering, a heat protection glove and a mini hairbrush. One thing I love about it is the way the wire rotates depending on how you move or bend the straightener so it's more comfortable to use, pretty long in length too but has a wire organiser attached to it so it can be shortened if needed.Very straight forward usage, one power button to turn on, and two buttons to decrease and increase the heat, with five blue lights indicating how high the temperature is. Heats up quickly and acts exactly like a hairbrush. Straightened my hair in less than ten minutes ! 10/10 fully recommend, this thing beats the regular straighteners by miles.

This is the best hair straightener I have ever bought for my kids afro hair so far. Its easy to use and staightens in one go. I will Really recommend it. For the price, it's a good buy

This works better than my GHD straighters. Not heavy. Heats up fast. The brush is not an actual brush so it’s a bit tricky to get hair to pass through but go slowly & practice makes perfect. I’m pleased with it.

I had been putting off buying new straighteners for ages my last pair are about 20 years old lol things have changed and I didn't know what to go for.These kept coming up so I looked at reviews and searched the Internet for videos of people using these and compared to others on results and outcomes.I didn't want to spend a fortune and end up with rubbish ones. In the end I decided to go with these as there were cheaper and results looked good.I was disappointed mainly because I managed to straighten my puffy wavy thick hair in less than 5 minutes!! I just wanted to play longer lolThey are so fast I didn't need to do loads of sections either , 2 runs through and poker straight hair and it's still straight 2 days later ! I love these and to be fair if these were to die on me and the price went up I'd even pay more for them.

I don’t normally write reviews but having seen lots of adverts for this item on social media I decided to give it a try, I have quite thick,curly hair but for me they did not work well at all nothing like advertised. I dried by hair as usual then tried to use the brush, it took a lot of going over small sections of hair multiple times to get it anywhere near straight, I did half my hair and gave up as it had taken me longer than it would have to straighten all of my hair with normal Straightners , no silky shine after either just more frizzy than normal, I still had to go over the half I had done with straighteners. I have since returned these item.

Does it straightener the hair: yesDo I prefer it over my straightener: noIt does its job, it gives you dead straight hair within 15 mins. I have medium thick, wavy, frizzy long hair and it takes me about 14 mins. However, I still prefer my old straightener as I just found it more convenient to use and easier to straighten with.The other thing is, I am someone who will just spend a few mins to make my hair look less frizzy, and not do the whole straightening routine as I am always last minute rushing. However, with the tymo there's no in-between, you either do the whole process or don't do it at all. Your hair looks so straight that if you miss out even the smallest strand it will stand out. So if I am dressing up for an occasion I will use the tymo. However, if I am going to work etc,I will just use my old straightener to make it look less frizzy.

Absolutely love these! Although they are pretty heavy they do the job. Hair is straight. I use oil and heat protecting products to avoid dring my hair and keep shine. Various heat settings great for various hair types.

I brought this straightening comb after seeing all the ads posted and the raving reviews about how amazing it was. I have very very curly and frizzy hair. Quite like a lions mane. Because of this, I struggle to find a decent hair straightener that is relatively cheap. I find the only brand that works is ghd which are nowhere near cheap. So when I saw this, I thought I'd try it out and maybe I'd be surprised. Let's just say, I'm happy I was sensible and brought it from Amazon so I can return it! When I unboxed it, it seemed quite nicely packaged. It also looked quite sleek. The first time I turned it on, I realized it got ridiculously hot for the material quality. I can see why people complain of it breaking after a few tries. It seems to get too hot for the quality of material. I also noticed a horrific smell when it was turned on. At first I thought it was because it was brand new, but after multiple tries the smell has still not gone away. I tested the product on one strand of hair and I must say it did do a relatively ok job. It also felt quite smooth when going through my hair. However, it did leave a lot of static behind. I then went on to do another strand and it did absolutely nothing. I tried again and again in every way I could think of but it would not straighten one bit. It seems to be very temperamental and tends to turn off after 5 minutes of use and because of this, it is definitely a lot quicker and easier to use a straight forward flat iron. I've given it 2 stars because it may be better for someone who has thinner, less lion-like hair. For me, it is not worth it and I'd much rather spend a lot more on a straightener that will actually work and last a much longer period of time. If you would like to try it out, definitely buy it from Amazon as you can always send it back for a full refund if it ends up being a miss!
