Fantastic high level overview of materials and how they pertain to design. Well written and informative. Wonderful binding quality and finish; high gloss and high density paper make this a treat to read.Only three stars due to editing. It's incredible the amount of grammatical and formatting errors that are found throughout. I know it doesn't affect the knowledge within, but if someone is dropping $50 on a book it should feel like the editor was paid for actually doing their job.

The book is amazing. Well structured and informative. It includes how the Material is produced, what the sustainability issues are, the costs etc.However as a booklover I am disappointed by the delivery. The book was just packed in a bubblewrap in a plastic bag. Usually it should come in a special cardboard for books. So it has crinkles on its cover which is extremely frustrating.
