An Instagramer I follow (Vivi et Margot) wears this dress often. It looked so beautiful on her, but I was skeptical that it would actually be good quality since the price is so affordable. I decided to get it, thinking I could always use it to wear around the house if it wasn't as nice in person. I must say, it actually exceeds my expectations. The fabric is nice (thick) and it's finely stitched. I bought the light blue, size medium. For reference I'm typically a size 12 in dresses, fit is exactly what I was hoping for - slightly oversized, so you might consider sizing down if you're unsure. Super comfy and it has pockets! I will be taking this on vacation, it's so versatile.

.. the actual length is not as pictured for a person of 'average' height (I'm 5'6.5"). The XL length is approx 4" below my knee. Top of side slit is slightly above my knee. (Too revealing for my taste). Given shirt bottom style & shorter length (& my own less than attractive lower leg), I'll wear this as an oversized shirt/tunic with close-fitting ankle length leggings underneath. My advice is to check measurement table closely. NOTE: upon reading earlier reviews & negative comments about pocket placement, length of sleeves, fabric quality, and U-shaped side slit, I can report that the manufacturer has corrected all of those flaws. (At least in version I received 7/12/22). Pockets are appropriately placed at hips. Sleeves go to wrists & are easy to roll up. Side slit is a V shape, not U. 100% cotton material (mine in navy) is lightweight but not sheer. Feels substantial but not rough. Many complained about cheap buttons that are white instead of color matched. (though pix of brown dress shows brown buttons, so can't speak to colors other than the navy). I don't mind the white as I intend to wear dress w/ white leggings. Even if that weren't the case, given the very reasonable price of the dress (less than $30), I can afford to replace its buttons.

Looks great, thicker material than expected, definitely feels quality, just the right oversized look, all is good... ☝🏻 except (and I'm knocking two stars here because of the inconvenience) two buttons popped off after wearing it one day. If your sewing can't handle me just getting in and out of a car we got problems. I saved them and I'm resewing every button as we speak. I'll still wear it after this, I'm just here to tell you what you're in for if you buy this dress. 🙄 and thank god the popped buttons didn't decide to pop in any of the important places.

I originally purchased this shirt dress in white and navy blue and absolutely love them! The only thing I don't like about the blue one is the buttons are white and the contrast against the Navy makes it look cheap so I'll be replacing those buttons. I wanted another one and really like this striped version feeling that it would be perfect for summer. I live in South florida. I don't know if I made a mistake and sized up or if I ordered the exact same size as the White and the blue but this one is significantly larger. I wanted it to be loose-fitting but not this big. Unfortunately I missed the return window and will keep it, hoping maybe it shrinks after a few washes if I put it in the dryer. Perfect for lounging around the house throwing on some sandals and going to a nice dinner on the beach or just running errands. You could really dress these up or down. The fabric is a cotton linen definitely not 100% linen but I do recommend.

Came used and way smaller than the size listed. I got the same item in two other colors and both fit perfectly, so this one clearly ran small — almost like it had been washed and shrunk before shipping. Pretty frustrating for something that was supposed to be new.

Soft and comfy

My new favorite everyday dress! XXL fits me perfectly at 5’4” and a bit plump at the moment. Very slenderizing. I’m on a Dr controlled weight loss program & this will take me through the transition easily without worrying over “what to wear” I bought 9 colors and may buy them all. The white buttons that bother some are OK for me especially on the navy one. I wouldn’t waste my time replacing buttons on a dress like this unless it was for a special look. These just made my life easier while fitting perfectly & are so flattering especially in the summer heat. Each color is an opportunity to accessorize simply or not. Either way it’s a classic linen shirt dress. I don’t expose my arms or legs to sunlight & these help keep me sun free as much as possible.

The image and description were nothing like what I received. It wasn't as long as indicated, had no side slits, wasn't drop shoulder, sleeves weren't that long, and didn't feel anything like cotton. Took several emails but eventually did receive a full refund (item + shipping). Very disappointing.
