Who doesn't love a topwater bite?
Admittedly, I'm not the biggest fan of trying to work these baits. I'm just not that good at the technique, and it'll wear your wrist out after a while. That might be on my equipment. But one thing is for sure, it gets results. Even in the middle of clear sky blue hot Louisiana afternoon in August they will hit this thing. I own 2 of these and after a year of use and many fish, they are still catching em. Just recently got another color to try. Highly recommend this lure.

Great lure, this is actually the first lure that I have ever caught two bass on one cast with. Unfortunately it doesn't do that every time, but it is a producer. Finish on the Baby Bass is very good, I don't have any issues after several fish with chipping. Two things I do try to change on the lure. I like to add a strip of lead to the back if I find I am not getting good hook ups, it lowers the back end slightly and seems to snag that fish that wants to roll under the bait without taking it. I also change the front hook to EWG short shank mustad, just to get a little better stick when they hit the front.
