Haven't used any of them yet but just the same as came with the mower.

I used to toil with taping up the various breaks in the perimeter wire but no more ! these are a game changer!

Great for jointing the guide wire for my robot mower ( who cuts it from time to time) - quick and easy and at a great price only just used them so not sure about the longevity but they seem fairly sturdy . No need to strip the wire as the action of compressing the blue button not only cuts into the insulation to make a good conntact but also fills the wire cavity with a waterproof silicon gel type of material

If you have purchased some good quality boundary wire, then these will NOT cut through it to the metal and make the connection. "No loop signal" permanently on the device until I removed all these devices and joined the wires together directly and then the signal went through....so as to not waste all of these; I then pushed the two joined cables into the one hole and pushed down on the button thereby sealing in the joint inside the "box" and surrounding it with the hydrophobic gel. NOT how they were designed to be used but this will at least protect the joint under the ground. Wouldn't recommend it unless you have thin cable.
