Excellent little wire cutters, especially for the price.
These are excellent little wire cutters for the price. Klein tools are great and standard in the industry. Made in the USA is the selling point for me. Plus one star. Upon receiving I was pleasantly surprised to find the grips were a perfect solid rubber feel. Not too soft so that they deform or slip in rain or sweaty hands yet not hard like plastic or metal and keeps the metal from freezing your hands on cold days. Also helps with gloves or big bear paws like mine. Plus another star= two stars. The cutters are sharp and accurate. They were sharp and had no issues cutting through each respective insulation. They are ground quite well and fit to its mate nicely. Plus another star= three star. They have lasted for me for many cuts. All copper. Still sharp with no issues, they do not bind. The spring is a good tension. Although it was clumsy in my tool pouch so I simply removed it. Its easy to do and for storage it fits well in the vertical position while closed. The tolerances work well and with a flip of the ring finger I can open the plies just fine. Plus one star= 4 Stars All this under 15 bucks Plus another star= five stars. Some have said that one fault here is the that the gauges are simply stamped and hard to see. This is true. However, simple tricks to the uneducated, but we are educated arent we..? Step 1. Go find yellow or white or red paint. Or any color. Use nail polish or acrylic or enamel. I used acrylic with good results as that's what was at my girlfriends house at the time and she doesn't wear yellow nail-polish. Nail polish or enamel will probably last longer but is easier to mess up. Acrylic has been working for months just fine. Step 2. Get small Qtip or brush. I used a qtip. Take some paint and smear it over the AWG numbers and words that are stamped. I didn't do the warning labels as that should be well known and I didnt care to do that as well. Step 3. Let sit a few minutes then using your finger rub the excess of... USE YOUR FINGER! Anything absorbent will soak up the paint out of the stamping. Step 4. Then go around and carefully with a clean q-tip wipe the excess off. Let dry. Clean up anything extra and it should just chip away. Especially if you use acrylic. Step 5. Admire your handy work. Yes this seems excessive but USA Made is important to me. Klein has to cut some corners in order to compete with lower quality junk that's all over. I will gladly forfeit paint in order to continue production in USA. The whole idea took 20 min from conception to completion and the tool is much more user friendly now. This review took longer. I am trying to update a picture but cant seem to find it. Maybe I will have to update a video to show this. Look at customer images or video reviews to see if I have.

Well Done Klein
Klein makes good tools and this is one of them. I bought these because I make a lot of audio cables and do small electronics wiring. I needed a good and sharp set of wire strippers that can work down to 22 AWG without breaking the fragile strands in the higher-end audio cables. These work great for that purpose and I love the feel of them in my hands. I was using Knipex auto-wire strippers which are good down to about 18 AWG but these are prefect for the smaller stuff.

Reliable, Well-Built Wire Strippers That Strip and Cut Cleanly
I’ve been using these Klein wire strippers for general electrical work and low-voltage projects, and they’ve been rock solid. Stripping is clean and consistent across the common wire gauges, and the blades line up well so I’m not nicking conductors. The cutting edge is sharp and makes quick work of copper wire without needing much force. They feel sturdy in the hand with no flex, and the handles are comfortable even when using them for longer sessions. You can tell they’re built to last, which is what I expect from Klein tools. Simple tool, does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and does it well.

Good Product
Works properly. Undecided whether I like the thicker handles.

Not A Bad Deal
In order to satisfy my moderate tool addiction I purchased 3 Circuit Alert tools last year on impulse and have used them only sparingly b/c I predominantly use my Knipex and Greenlee electrical tools on the job. That said, these have work well when I HAVE used them. One can tell immediately that the materials aren't the same degree of quality as say "Klein" or "Knipex" but rather in line w/ a name like Stanley (which are more than decent tools). I say this not to knock Stanley or Black & Decker type tools but because they're simply not for professional use day in & day out. This Gardener Bender line is unique in that it possesses a built in voltage detector which is a "useful novelty". The tool can be flipped, the button held down and the non-contact detector will flash and beep if there's power. Additionally the detector can be removed and used as a simple, stand alone voltage sensor. I was surprised to find out that this line is also insulated (1000v rated) which makes it, not only, all the more versatile but a tremendous value compared to other insulated electrical tools. The stripping end of this has cut well for me, no worse than my Greenlee stripper, and the spring adds ease-of-use to the equation. An ideal line for anyone in the trades or the average Joe looking for a wire stripper w/ a few bells & whistles.

Only the best
The best wire strippers. Nice and sharp, clean cuts. Now if I can only keep track of this pair...... Use them daily and often end up sitting them down and forgetting them, that's why I try and keep 3-4 pair on hand.

Best wire stripper for low voltage wiring
My favorite wire stripper. I use it professionally on low voltage wiring. Cant beat the quality for the price. Would buy again.

They're Klein's wire strippers, what more can you expect.
I use these at work maybe only every other day or so, but when I need them they work just like they should. If you do low voltage work and want a decent pair of wire cutters, I think you should grab these.

AWG Wireのストリップに使用してます、個体差は多少あるかもしれないですが、かなり綺麗に被覆は剥ぎ取れます、今回は2個目の購入…軽くて携帯するのにも便利です。

Buon prodotto
Spelafili fatta bene, non ha giochi e la molla funziona bene. Verso lo snodo é presente una zona dove é possibile tagliare il cavo. Costa un po’ ma sembra che sia fatta per durare nel tempo
