Love it though for small straining jobs
I bought this because I thought it was larger than it actually is. Love it though for small straining jobs. A little difficult to collapse but I am sure with enough time it will get easier.

Perfect pasta strainer
I searched long and hard for the perfect pasta strainer, and this is it. This colander has a foot so that sink water doesn't touch your pasta, as well as a little tray to catch drips if you move it to the counter. Love that i can flatten it and place it in the dishwasher or cabinet. This one seems to be made of plastic rather than soft silicone, so it does take more force to collapse/expand it.

... a decades old Tupperware one (cracked handle finally) that like this unit
We bought this to replace a decades old Tupperware one (cracked handle finally) that like this unit, didn't have holes on the sides. Our main purpose for it was to be able to drain grease from scrambled hamburg or sausage into a can. The bottom of this unit is larger than the old yellow Tupperware one, so had to do some adapting, but it is probably going to be adequate for what we want to accomplish, at a fraction of the cost of a new Tupperware one. Could not find any in the stores that didn't have side holes, so am glad to have purchased this.

A lovely good-sized collander
Easy to unfold and fold back, saves lots of space in my kitchen drawer. Love that it comes with a detachable base, though when it's on it's not completely leak-proof so better keep it in the sink if filled with water.I hand wash mine, so don't know if it withstands dishwashers OK.

Quality Product
Absolutely love this colander, perfect in every way. We use it for pastas, fruits, veggies, potatoes, etc. The collapsible feature makes it very convenient to store if you have limited cabinet space. I'm very happy with this purchase and have been pleased with all of the other products that I've purchased from this company!

Nice sized unit, no smells.Is a bit ridgid to collapse, but anticipate it easing up a bit with a lot more use
