Travel Trailer Lock, Black

As others have mentioned, this may not exactly be the FIC brand as everyone expected, but the product works just as expected. Took me roughly 5 minutes to install. Perfectly replaced my old door handle on my ThorCalifornia Tahoe toy hauler. Both keys worked for both locks, so I'm not quite sure what everyone else was on about in that regard.While you have the product in pieces, I would suggest adding some lubricant, such as Lucas silicon, to the locks, and their tumblers. This will help ensure that all rotating parts remain operational and smooth. I would suggest routinely cleaning out your handles once a year. Takes less than 10 minutes to disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble your door handle. 10 minutes a year can save you $30 to replace.Great product!

Ordered this to replace a worn-out door latch. Fit perfectly. At first I thought the supplied screws were too short, but once I applied the latch guide, everything slipped right in to place, and worked perfectly. A quick 10 minutes is all you'll need to replace your RV door latch with this. Keys were a bit picky at first, requiring a perfect insertion, but a tad bit of WD-40 and a few rounds of use has fixed that.

This is one excellent lock. I installed this in my cargo trailer door. Installation took about 45 minutes as I had to come up with a way to make it fit the door which is only 3/4 of an inch thick. I really would have liked a template to show the size of the hole size I needed to cut, but all in all the process was not too difficult, just a little tedious. The lock works well from the outside as well as the deadbolt on the inside. I will definitely buy this product again.

I bought this to install on my cargo trailer side door which didn't have anything but a large cam lock. When I received it and saw how nice it was I decided to put it on my Bigfoot camper and put the old one on on my cargo trailer. It fit perfectly in the factory camper door location and is easy to swap out. Be warned though, if you are installing this in a new location there are no instructions or templates. I was able to do a very tidy installation but I have a lot experience in mortising and working with locks. You will need a variety of tools and careful planning to properly install it in a new location.

Recently we were on a camping trip and the lock on our camper broke. Luckily we have two doors on our camper & was able to get in using other door. When we arrived home, went on line to see if we could get a replacement. Found it and ordered. Received rather quickly and was able to install very easily. Very happy with the replacement. Since we have 2 doors on camper, we will have separate keys for each lock but no big deal. Would recommend to others.

My horse trailer door handle broke off and I was in desperate need of a replacement as to lock the tack room. With over $5,000 in tack in there, I didn't want to go long without a locking handle. I ordered this with my fingers crossed that it would fit the opening, and luckily it worked like a charm! Quality of the product seems great, installation was a breeze, aesthetically looks great. I'd say this is an excellent product! Highly recommended.

Fit great on my 34 ft 2001 Sunnybrook 5th wheel trailer. I replaced the original because the deadbolt had failed.However, it failed at 13 mo. Key wouldn't go in deadbolt slot. Then the deadbolt fell out and you could not lock it from the inside or outside. top part still works. had to buy another one, as the warranty is one year.
