AMAZING PRODUCT!!!
I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Being a redhead I naturally need sun protection during outdoor activities. This cover does just that!!! And on top of sun protection it makes an excellent storage pocket and it also deflected many large waved that lapped over the front of my yack. I plan on always using this when I go out. Just get in. Slip it over and poof off you go!!! Its worth every penny spent on it!!!

Works great, looks nice.
If you have a recreational/touring kayak, these things are a must to keep your legs from frying on a warm sunny day. They also will help to keep water out of the kayak in the event of waves breaking over the bow and/or paddle drips. What I like:1. Easy to install2. Effect shade for the legs3. Helps to keep water out of the boat4. Looks nice5. Adds storage possibilities - might hold a map well or maybe sunglasses or a cell phone. Whatever it is it needs to be light so as to not collapse the two bows that help to shed water off of it.What I don't like:1. For what it is, there are really no negatives.2. A bit pricey, but it was readily available.I didn't think the gray color was going to look very nice, but Perception Seat Covers are gray, so it does look pretty nice.

Great kayak accessory
It’s adaptable to several types of kayaks, easy on / off. Keeps the sun off you in the summer, though restricts some airflow for summer cooling it does help to keep wind and water drips off you in cooler weather.Keep in mind it’ll restrict you from ease of access to any dashboard you have, but for me not a deal breaker. The mesh zippered pocket is kind of useless, that probably could have been thought of a better design for compartments, but again not a deal breaker. There is a strap that runs just above the knees that is a little annoying from time to time but it adds to the structure to have it arch.Would like to see 2 of the more rigid bands that add to the arching structure…one over the knees and one for over the dashboard area.Very pleased with it, actually bought 3 for all my kayaks.

Good quality
Fits good and seems to be built well. Just know you have to take this off getting in and out your kayak. Still a nice product to have. Burnt knees are NOT fun to have. This takes care of that and give you a little extra space/pocket.

Make a splash with this skirt!
I got this skirt to protect my legs from the sun when paddling on the lakes. It's easy to attach, stays in place, and provides the shade I wanted. It also keeps the drips from my paddle from landing on my legs or pooling up in the boat. It is ok at repelling water, but will still get a little soaked if exposed to a lot of water (like heavy rains or excessive splashing).I love that it fits all my boats (Pelican 100, Aspire 105 and Pungo 120).I might try to add an additional brace between the two horizontal braces to help prevent water from pooling up at the pocket.

Fits my Pelican Argo 100X
The Perception Kayak Sun Shield for Sit-Inside Kayaks - Size Grey, P12-P13 fits my Pelican Argo 100X perfectly! I was a little worried because my model was not listed for it. I am very happy with the way it fits. There is a lot of open space between the cover and where you sit, so you will not stay completely dry as with other styles. My cockpit is 50" long (127 cm) and 24.5 " wide (62.2 cm) and the part the shield covers is 28" with elastic that stretches around the rest of the cockpit for a tight fit.

Worth the money
If you're keeping the sun off your legs or hitting that class 2 class 3 waters, this is definitely the cat's meow if you don't want a full skirt.

Overpriced & underperforming
This is basically a glorified sunshade for your legs. For that it's very helpful, but for $80, you could probably get away with just putting something over your legs.I got this for my Perception Joyride 10 Kayak. It looks nice on the boat, but eliminates the functionality of the dashboard, which was supposed to be a selling point of the KayakThe zippered pocket on top is nice for stowing things, but can't store anything heavy without caving in.That brings me to one of my big complaints. There are straps under the skirt that you tug on to keep it snug and bowed. However, the first time a small wave came over the bow of my kayak, it did little to keep water out. It instead caved and all the water was funneled directly into the cockpit. I actually got lucky it didn't happen further out or it could've killed me. The boat started to sink but with the help of 3 people, I was able to drag the boat back to land.Having straps underneath that hang low makes it really hard to move around, get at cargo and feels a little dangerous. If I capsize and need to kick my legs to get out of the boat, your legs could easily get tangled up in these straps. You're better off just getting the full spray skirt if water coming into the boat is an issue. You can find better and cheaper ways to give your legs shade. As far as the cargo pocket on front goes, you're better off just having a dry bag or waterproof case attached to the cords on your dashboard, or somewhere in the boat.I will say it does make the boat look sleek and it did provide shade for my legs. The funny part was while paddling back, I didn't even attach it to the boat. I simply draped it over my legs for sun protection and had better access to everything else I had with me. You could accomplish the same thing with a $2 waterproof tarp from Dollar Tree.
