Very convenient, stops blood in the spot

I shave in the shower and was looking for something that I could leave out all the time within reach of the shower, but wouldn’t swell up and become impossible to use like a traditional styptic pencil when exposed to humid air. I’ve had many of them that became impossible to remove from their plastic tube due to swelling. This item does exactly what I wanted! As luck would have it, I went for nearly three weeks without a razor cut after receiving this. Kind of like it never rains when I remember to take an umbrella. But yesterday I finally cut my upper lip while shaving. I pulled off one of the small “matches” from the book, wet it under the shower, and applied it to the cut. The bleeding stopped almost immediately. This product works as advertised, and I’ll be reordering when I get low. Great product!

Dude, this pack of “stop the blood” is awesome. When me & the wife are tipsy and the knife play gets a little screwy, it comes in pretty handy. Next I’ll look into their o in & needle set in case a body part were to accidentally get severed!

It's been a while since I did an Amazon review, but I felt this time I had to do it. I bought these styptic styx a few months ago on Amazon after some random article I read. I had my first razor nick since I bought them today, caught the bottom of my lip and it was bleeding like crazy. After a few minutes, I remembered I had these and I used one. It was crazy simple - literally just rubbed it on my lip, and it was closed up in 0.5seconds, no more blood. It was freaking AMAZING! I will mention that it probably isn't intended to be used on lips haha. The taste was not pleasant. But if it CAN work that well on my lip - I'm sure it'll be perfect for any other razor nick I have on my face. And a 60-pack for 7 bucks is insane. So yeah, I seriously cannot recommend these strongly enough - it's just a "must have" for all men and probably most women!

I wanted the Green Stix styptic product to work well, and technically it does, just not as expected. 1. the packaging, or lack there was, was disappointing. I thought it was a error in my order. It was 3 matchbooks in a clear plastic bad. Well the matchbooks were the product. The good thing is the product is very efficient and portable. Too bad you can't light a smoke with it (Kidding, I don't smoke). 2. The actual product. Well I guess it does what it says it does. Just hard to tell if it's working. You tear off a match, I mean a strip, wet it and use it. Simple enough right? Wrong. The whole strip gets soggy and almost rips apart every time I use one. The paper isn't a good quality or nearly thick enough. Now the actual product does work. It stops bleeding, just not in the most efficient fashion Overall this is a decent product, I guess I was just expecting more. It is better products out here for your money.

Brother has to take blood thinners due to heart problems. I got this for him, and it has been a blessing..

Had to use it the other day, and it stinged nicely, as it should, and helped to stem the bleeding (shaving cut).
