Lonicera caerulea are native to northern and central Europe, north Asia and Japan. Culitvated for centuries as a fruit bearing plant, they are now ranked among the "Super foods". A stiff, compact, deciduous shrub, they produce yellowish white flowers in spring, followed by elongated rich blue fruit with an attractive bloom. The fruits are high in antoxidants and vitamin C with a taste similar to Blueberries. Lonicera are easier to grow than Blueberries. Variety Morena is a selected variety renown for its fruit production and exceptional hardiness. Grows well in full sun or partial shade in almost any soil.  Can be used in a large pot or other container. Use a good quality John Innes compost as this plant will be there a long time and peaty types of compost eventually degrade and become too packed and choke the roots. Ensure you feed regularly as a hungry plant is a poor performer. We recommend Osmoscote pro 8-9 month applied in the early spring. One application gives all the nutrients the plant requires for the whole year. John Innes is a soils based compost.

Arrived quickly and as described
Hate buying plants off the internet but on arrival they looked healthy and one plant even has fruit on it.

Honeysuckle or honeyberry?
I bought 2 plants back in April. When they arrived both plants looked reasonably healthy. One quickly began to grow vigorously, whilst the other, despite being placed in a very similar position was much slower growing. 3 months on and I am convinced that the quick growing one is actually a honeysuckle, rather than a honey berry.
