Exactly what my cousin wanted for christmas.

This model tooling has been around for decades, and I ordered it to build for a friend. I had low expectations, as I figured there'd be a lot of flash and clean up required. I was pleasantly surprised that the moldings were still fairly crisp, though the body moldings and instrument engravings were a bit too shallow, and would all but disappear after paint coats. I separately ordered a set of printed instruments, and a photoetched set from Model Car Garage, which will solve those issues. It's a fairly simple kit, basically a promotional model with engine detail. I will be building it stock, so won't be using the rod or custom parts. One nice detail for the stock 327, is that it can be built with fuel injection, or a 4bbl carburetor, with the proper air cleaner for the carb version. A neat addition to the kit, is a printed, scaled down color copy of this classic model box and artwork, on cardstock, which can be cut out and folded to display with the model. I do recommend this kit, especially if you remember it on hobby shelves over 40 years ago. Build it, and have fun; there's nothing like a split window Corvette.

The model was fairly easy to put together, but the directions were very poor. I don’t think l will buy AMT Models any more.

I bought this model for my grandson for Christmas. It was just what he wanted. He was very pleased with it.

Very old moulding, too many different parts to make three models, parts don’t fit especially the wheels and bonnets

Je ne sais pas si je suis tombé sur un lot avec trop de produits demoulant sortie d usine,mais quand j ai voulu appliquer la peinture bombe cela a tourné au vinaigre ,ça n accroché pas plus quelques pièces abîme' , déçu d Amt car je choisis principalement ces modèles avec plusieurs choix de de montage, origine ou Street Machine il faut aussi penser que ce n est pas du plastique comme toutes les autres marques mais de la résine donc a manipuler avec prudence, dans mon cas la maquette foutu ! Mais Amazon m a rembourse' ce qui est un très bon geste commercial ! Ce pour dire que cette marque ne fais que résine et ne se travaille pas comme les autres marques qui elles sont plastique
