A super pot of bland, yet unpleasant to eat gross food.
I bought these thinking “how bad can it be, I’ll be able to work my way through 8 of these”. The answer is “really bland, verging on inedible”. Seriously, I really didn’t enjoy these. I have a diet where I eat a lot of rice, lentils, pulses etc. and I have never made anything as bland and poorly textured as these pots. Yes, they are convenient. You simply add water, stir, leave to ‘cook’, then throw them in the bin!Disappointed, doesn’t even begin to sum up my feelings. The Indian style one is slightly better, but I had to add a considerable amount of my own spices to it to make it taste nicer.

Would recommend!
I bought these for a quick meal when trying to be a bit healthier and will definitely be getting them again. They are quick and easy to make for a lunch or a small dinner and considering they are so healthy they actually taste really good. Would definitely recommend.

Add some lemon juice otherwise bland
Lacks some acidity and salt. ADD 1/4 OR 1/2 OF A LEMON JUICE to taste AND A PINCH OF SALT. Comes out a million times better.Bought it in a supermarket but I thought I’d share my finds with you. You can thank me later.
