Knape & Vogt 1175P ZC 22 22-5/8" Zinc Single Track Drawer Slide

This was a perfect replacement part for one of the kitchen drawers in Mother's mobile home with a broken slide. Easy to cut down to correct length and to install. Could not find this kit at HD nor Lowes. A previous reviewer had noted the they also used this kit to replace a broken glide at their parents mobile home, so that was a very helpful review.

Received yesterday and installed this morning. This is exactly what I needed for my old kitchen cabinet. Drawer is sliding out perfectly again. Just ordered 2 more for the for the remaining cabinet drawers.

Great for if you have an older house that won't accept new drawer tracks. Never fixed a broken drawer before, but I got this, screwed it in, now my drawer works perfectly and I feel like an accomplished human being.All that aside, the thing I liked about this kit is how clear the instructions actually are. I read them, did as they said, boom, drawer slides perfectly.The kit supplies you with more screws than you need in case you lose or mess one up because you're an amateur like me.Drawer is still working, the construction feels solid. I want to switch more drawers to this system since it rolls much more smoothly than the more primitive plastic bracket and rail system my house came with.

I have an older home that has many of the single rail type drawers from the company Merillat. There is one particular plastic piece that after 35 years just started breaking…all of a sudden I had a bunch of drawers that didn’t work anymore. That one little plastic piece was special, none of the hardware stores had it, none of the kitchen cabinet builders had it…even Merrilat didn’t have any of them. I tried to make my own replacement parts but was unsuccessful. I bet a 3d printer could have done it..but I found this replacement kit on Amazon and decided to give it a try. The kit worked perfectly! You will need a hack saw to cut the bar/slide to the correct length, but that was the hardest part. After I did a couple I got the process down to about 20 minutes per drawer. I decided to replace the drawers that were not broken, as this let me have access to an undamaged one of those plastic pieces which I was able to use to fix other broken drawers. This product saved me a lot of money. I plan to eventually sell this house and I need all the drawers working for when that day comes. A sharpie pen, hacksaw, Philips head screw driver, flash light, and a drill were all I needed…it’s so intuitive that I didn’t even read the instructions. Love this product!
