Red pepper is used in a lot of things. Love the flavor on my pizza but I got these for my Chickens. Chickens will eat just about everything, but they cannot feel the spiciness nor heat of red pepper flakes. They are good for keeping parasites/worms from growing inside them. Got the 5 lb option. Arrived in a solid brick, vacuum packed. A good sign. When opened, it was very clumpy, but some massaging loosened it up. The aroma was amazing! So fresh! Proceeded to vacuum pack in smaller packages. Found dessicant packs in the mix, glad about that. Yielded 12 vacuum packed bags of 2 cups each. Such a good deal for quality product. Pretty sure I'll be leaving some chili flakes to my kids. Cant wait to try it on my next pizza or plate of pasta!

I feed this as a supplement for my chickens, this product is great and the price is very good! Keeps the digestive worms away for my hens. Not just a spice but a good tool to have in your box to take care of your flock.

I bought this for my chickens. I had read that it can help keep them warm during the winter and it helps to deter rodents from their food. Didn’t realize that red pepper could be used to help avoid worms. Well, this product actually helped kill some worms. I had no idea my chickens had worms. I found a bunch of dead worms in a pile. I thought it was string at first and went to remove it. When I looked closer I realized it was a bunch of worms. I think this product is great for what I got. A lot of crushed red pepper flakes to keep my girls warm and dewormed lol.I will be buying this again.

I bought this to add to my chicken food to prevent worms. I will say when I opened this bag the peppers were fairly sticky and the smell was really hot. More than any red pepper flakes I have had in any pizza shop. Good thing chickens cant feel heat from peppers.

Taste fresh, bright colored compared to some other brands. The texture and size of the package allows me to mix some with my chicken feed.
