I like it
I have a microwave with turntable. So, I followed the package directions. I divided my beaten egg between the halves of the omelet maker; put the open gadget into the microwave for 1 minute. And then I took it out, put some packaged shredded cheese and pre-cooked bacon bits down the center of one half, closed the gadget, returned it to the microwave for 30 seconds, and lunch is ready. I really like it. Eggs were good but perhaps can even improve. I enjoy thoroughly cooked eggs. That's what I had. That said, I will be using this omelet frequently. It is so easy, so good, and easy to clean. It gives no smell at all. If I use using a cheap microware at work, I would add a few more seconds here and there. After I close the lid up for the last part of the cooking cycle, it will cook the last minute as written in on the package. Next time, I will try in future will be to use one number lower on the power level. I think that is better than trying to guess the optimum cooking time. I will cut a slice of cheese into 4 narrow strips and arrange them along the center of one side after the initial cooking. I think that will be easier than trying to keep the mini-shreds from falling off the cooked half-omelet. It is kind of fun to mess around to find my way for the best.

Makes it easy to have a quick, healthy, delicious breakfast. Excellent for picky eaters!
I bought this after buying and LOVING the single egg cooker. I have some hungry guys to feed in the morning, but they both like different things on their eggs. This will cook 3 eggs and toppings like (pre-cooked) bacon, ham, veggies, (I cook batches and put in plastic bags in fridge for the week), for 1:30, then add cheese on both sides, do another 30 seconds, then close it and cook for another 30 seconds or so until desired firmness. They omelet will fluff up nicely. If you use 2 eggs, the cook time is shorter, but my guys like big omelets. This saves me from dirtying lots of pans. It works better than my countertop plug in omelet machine that cost me a LOT more than this little tool. It washes up easy, just a quick wipe, no matter if the cheese leaks all over the place. I've never put in dishwasher because I tend to baby the dishes that I love most. A word of caution: Don't just grab the opening handle and open it slowly. A lot of steam will come out from the opening. I just a thin oven glove to open it quickly, then give it a few seconds to let the steam dissipate. After that, it's easy to tip it up and slide the omelet right onto the plate. I've had it for a few months and we've used it plenty. Very pleased. Would be happy to buy again.

Easy!
Simple directions, does not require any grease or oil as the material is slick. In about 3 minutes I can prepare and cook in my microwave a nice cheese omelette. I use 4 eggs, whisk together with a little ground pepper, pour half of the egg mixture into each half of the “pan”, place in microwave in open position, cook for 1 minute. Stir up a bit with fork, sprinkle each half with some shredded cheese, cook in microwave 1 more minute. Remove pan, close one half over onto the other, open and slide omelette out onto plate. Quick, easy, no fuss, comes out perfectly every time. I wash pan in top rack of dishwasher, but washing by hand is also very simple to do. Could add other “fillings” to the omelette if desired as long as “fillings” are pre-cooked.

Not even close to stove-top omelets
For me, this is really a "2", but I'll give it a "3" mainly because it's a bit easier than using a pan on the stove and the taste is OK, but it is not remotely close to a good stove-top omelet. All those reviewers who say it's "perfect" cannot have ever had a really good omelet. These omelets are better than the rubbery eggs I tried many years ago when microwaves first came out, but most of that is likely due to better microwave technology, not this device. As with all microwaves, the cooking is uneven. It gets done around the edges while still liquid in the middle. The instructions say to stir halfway through. I think stirring 3-4 times is required for a really good result. If I'm going to have to do all that, it's easier on the stove. Also, as with all microwaves, timing is critical. You really need to watch it, at least the first few times. Again, if I have to stand there, I might as well use the stove and get a really good omelet and be able to watch it and add ingredients without having to stop and start or open and close the door. The unit seems fairly well made, but poorly finished. As with the egg cooker, there are ragged edges and burrs that snag dish cloths and could scratch or even cut. I did not use any butter or spray, because the instructions didn't call for it. It wasn't a horrible mess, but definitely did not clean easily. It required hot soapy water and some scrubbing. The color makes it hard to see stuck on egg. I'll try it again with butter or non-stick spray. If the results are noticeably better, I'll post an update. Either way, I deduct something either for sticking or for incomplete instructions.
