I like this, but had to return it, at my expense. The locking catch on this did not reach out far enough to latch onto the jamb. The tang was as long as it needed to be in normal conditions, but I discovered my pocket door was not closing in alignment, the upper most part of the door was touching the jamb first leaving a gap too wide where the lock had to latch. Amazon sells tools to adjust the pocket door so it closes on the square/plumb but unless you have temporary shims that's a two person job, and the adjustment to make the door plumb is not an easy reach or any easy fix which is why the custom tools Amazon sells are needed for the adjusting, but even with those know how experience is best. If this is your problem find a handyman that does it, because even if you have the tools, if you've never done this you are better off having someone familiar with how the pocket doors hang, and adjusting without taking off the wooden door trim to see what you are doing with the sliding track is also a part of the job. If you have painted the door trim, then you know removal of that trim leaves you are paint touch up in the aftermath. Bottom line, if the maker of this lock made a version of it with a tang that had "more reach" that would lock the door even if the door hangs a little skewed.

Worked great, unscrewed the ugly 30 year old one and this one went right back in its place perfectly!

I bought this because my current pocket door is being used to lock one of my cats in the back area of the house due to being bullied. My cats on the other side know how to stick their paws in between the pocket door and open it if it's not locked. Since this lock only has the turning knob on one side (the other side is like a screw that you have to take a flat object to lock it), I decided to just buy another lock and take off the side with the turning knob and put it on the other side of my current lock. Works perfectly.I was unable to find a lock like this that had the turning knobs on both sides. The color matches perfectly with what I have and I'm just quite happy now that I don't have to take a screwdriver to lock it when I'm on the other side of the door.

Doesn't work. The knob you turn to engage latching mechanism won't rotate as expected. It turns about half way and no further. Got it for a house refurb I'm working on and it's been too long since I bought it or I would just return the thing. Now it's just going into the trash.

This product is as advertised and came in in good condition. Will purchase from this company again if needed.

Wrong colour sent. Not antique brass as shown Company sending replacement. 🤞🏻 the correct one comes As pictured. Grateful they’re able to replace it or let me return it Otherwise item works well. Just the colour is an issue
