Fine & def useful. Holes are for ventilation & I guess to reduce condensation. Be careful to not over tighten, as this will pull the stitching right

It's a standard pool cover buy needed.
Buy with the pool. Unlike myself I purchased after. The little holes are for evaporation the cover keeps out leaves and other debris.

Good cover high pull ties, however like all covers it has holes which allow dirt to get in.
