It works like it should and the price is right.
A good piece for the home mechanic but probably not sturdy enough for a heavy duty commercial garage. I use it to keep a few cars and motorcycles tuned and I don't toss my tools around.

works great for outboard engines.
Able to set my boat timing on the outboard motor now. Worked great. Found the timing was at 28 degrees Before Top Dead Center, should be set at 22 degrees. Glad i didn't burn a hole in my pistons...

This timing light stopped working after one use I strongly suggest spending a little more for a better quality product.

It seems to work ok BUT it is not accurate
It is a very lightweight timing light. The leads are a very light guage wire. After having been a certified technician for over 40 years and having good quality tools (Snap-on and Mac) I was disappointed in how "cheap" this looks and feels. I loaned my good timing light to a supposed friend and he never returned it. I'm restoring a classic car and needed a timing light, this one seems to function ok but I will recheck my timing with a better quality timing light and see how accurate it is.***Update***I checked the timing with a better timing light and found the timing light is NOT accurate. Maybe I just bought a defective product (that happens) but is it possible that they are an inferior product? I would not recommend this product after my experience with it, it was just over 12 degrees off.

Will need to mark the timing line with this unit.
Not the strongest light. Usable, but you will need to mark the timing pulley with chalk to see the timing line. Borrowed another inexpensive timing light that was brighter and could see the timing mark without having to chalk the mark. Both lights were at the same (inexpensive) price point. On my old Corvette it was a problem to reach the pulley to mark it.
