Left handed EVH
I have a few Gator items. I'm happy with all the bags and cases. They're well made. It's a way to save a few bucks but not get garbage. This case is a great deal if you ask me. It's a little tight but it's works. I actually like that it's so slim. It's easier for storage and it holds my guitar with it moving around. I have the more expensive case and it's great also. I just wanted to save a few bucks so I got this one. It fits my new EVH 5150 and it also fit my Strat. I'm left handed. So its important that my cases fit universal. A lot of times you will find cases that perfectly fit right handed. You need to check if you're a lefty like me. This will do the trick though. I prefer hard cases over bags for my guitars. This is basic. Has a spot for a bit of cables or whatever. The EVH just fits. If the body was any longer it wouldn't fit. So make sure your guitar will fit. It says it's made for strat style guitars.

Great Value - Good Case
I've been using the Gater Guitar Case for my Fender Player Plus Precision Bass, and I couldn't be happier with it. The fit is perfect, and I love the spacious internal compartment that keeps my earbuds and instrument cable organized. The felt lining is incredibly soft and provides excellent protection for my bass. I've been taking this case to gigs for several months now, and it's stood up remarkably well, handling the wear and tear without any issues. The construction of the case is impressive – it's sturdy, and the heavy-duty latches work flawlessly. Considering it's less than half the price of branded cases, it's an incredible value. I highly recommend the Gater Guitar Case to any bass guitarist looking for a reliable and well-built case.

Came well packed and quick, solid bang for the buck
Unlike some of the other reviews here, mine came well protected with packing paper and wrapped in plastic - I noted before purchase several here did not have that experience in the past so I guess the manufacturer listened.Solid case, not too heavy - wouldn't trust it with the luggage crews for a flight, but that isn't what this is for. Well padded, plush interior, looks great, fit my Donner DST-152 which I bought it for perfectly and has a plenty spacious accessories compartment.Great bang for the buck, can't believe how much cheaper it is to get a good wood hard shell case compared to 20 years ago when this would have been (not even adjusting for inflation) $300 easily.Something you may overlook but will appreciate is the rounded corners that others don't offer in this price range. What else to say? It's a good, nice looking wood hard shell case on a budget, it does what it says and what you intend it to do. Oh, and the hardware has a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, so they stand behind the product.

Great case for a great price.
I've purchased two of these. I think they're excellent cases at a great price. Obviously, if you gig heavily and they get thrown around by moving gorillas, etc... they're not going to hold up, but what will outside of a ATA road case? As stated, I've purchased two of these. I bought one from a rather large, online, music retailer that includes candy in their packages at the same time I bought my Reverend Eastsider T (a Tele style guitar). One thing you need to know is that a Tele will fit, but there will be about a 2-3 inch gap that the guitar can slide. So, if you open the case and are looking down at the guitar body, it can slide from left to right that distance. There is no slack from front from to back (where the hinges are). Also, once the lid is closed, the guitar is held in place so the guitar is held in place so don't freak out when you see the gap. It's fine. I bought the second one off of Amazon for my 70th Anniversary Player Stratocaster that came with a cheap, good for nothing, gig bag. Unlike a Tele style, the Stratocaster fits perfectly with no side to side or front to back movement.Bottom line, I'd recommend this case to anyone that needs reliable protection at home, or for light gigging (where you are personally handling the instrument for load in/out).

Beautiful Guitar Case
Great looking solid body electric guitar case. Solid outside with nice latches with a lock. Plush inside to give lots of cushion to protect your guitar. A professional looking case for not much money.

Smaller then I expected but fits perfectly
Fits my American Stratocaster like a glove. Soft on the inside with a large storage compartment and a hard protective outside. A bit amaller then I expected but that is probably because I am used to coffin cases. Very high quality for the money , no regrets.

Fits perfectly my Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster
This is my first Gator case ever. I'm really happy that it fits perfectly my Telecaster. Looks very sturdy but light and has plush internal protection for my electric guitar.Thank you Gator for providing exact measurements that helped me make the correct decision.

Nice Hard Case for Electric Guitar
I ordered this for my daughter's new electric guitar. It is a well-constructed guitar case with a hard-shell. The first one I received was damaged, but Amazon replaced it, and although the outside of the first one was severely damaged, the interior of the case was unaffected, so it would have protected the contents well. It is a little snug for her guitar (Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro-IV), but it fits. The hinges and closing clips are well-made and operate easily. It has 4 clips to close it -- 3 on the handle side and 1 on the hinge side. The middle one on the handle side has a lock. The padding is soft, with a plush faux-fur lining. It has 2 accessory compartments -- one above the head and one under the neck of the guitar. Overall, we are very happy with this case -- just make sure you are careful with the measurements.
