So to start, let me just say that this looks lke a nice full box of books. Only to have my 4 year open it and question why there were so many of the same story. There's only 15 stories. I could have gotten a much smaller box for way less money and had the same amout of books in the end. That's my fault for not reading to the dotted line carefully so I can't knock the product for that. The books are tiny. The pictures are not colored so the pages just look like a printed piece of really thin copy paper that's been stapled together to make a book. I could have done that for free, at home. The sentences are 3 words long on every page. Which is true to the reading level but there's only a couple pages per book, which doesn't give a beginning, middle, or an end to the story. So this won't help with reading comprehension or phonics. Just with sight word recognition. The very very few sight words that are actually on the pages. The words are little but they're not so little that my toddler can't follow it easily. I only give it 3 stars and I'm debating only 2. I just don't see this as a product that will help my child's reading level advance.Overall, I can't knock a product for not reading the description more clealy, just know there's a lot better and less expensive options out there. Save your money. Unless you have 6 children all on a very beginning reading level and you need matching coloring books for all; then this product probably is going to be a slight waste of money.

Easy to read, makes learning exciting and set the child up for success

I made a little gift out of these books and added a tag that said "You're #1 in my book" for a valentine's day gift for my son's classroom. The kiddos loved it. It was different, and they could turn them into coloring books as well. The teacher/other parents loved them because it wasn't another gift full of candy. It was such an easy gift, and it was a good price point. I only wish there were less copies of more 'titles' in the box. I kept one of each , then donated the rest to his classroom for later.

Perfect for beginners. I have 3 grandkids in first and 2 in kindergarten and 2 in Pre-K they will all benefit from this. Box was smaller than I thought but that's ok.

Perfect for my 5 year old. Great small words & sentence structures. Multiple copies for read alongs or misplacement.
