The way the code is formatted in the book makes it nearly impossible to tell where different parts of the code go. Nothing runs without some debugging until nearly the entire application is written. Had to go to Stack Overflow constantly to get past errors in building the code.

Sto studiano Flutter e Dart dal materiale ufficiale che si trova on line, e da due libri... questo e "Flutter for Beginners". Il secondo, a differenza da ciò che indica il nome, è strutturato in modo tale da imparare prima Dart, e poi Flutter. Questo invece inizia con un'introduzione a Flutter, al suo SDK, a come tirar su la prima app (quella che si crea quando si mette su un progetto flutter per app), e inizia farti appassionare al mondo Flutter facendoti prima vedere "qualcosa". Non fa un analisi approfondita a Dart, ma gli da una vista generale. Poi passa su molti aspetti della costruzione di app con Flutter. Consiglierei questo libro ai lettori che vogliono buttarsi subito a creare app (anche se mi sento spinto nel ricordare al lettore che in un futuro se le le app iniziano a diventare complesse si avrà la necessità di fare qualche passo indietro). Se volete seguire un approccio serio seguite le guide ufficiali sul web ed affiancatevi a questi due volumi.Buona lettura e buon lavoro.

I haven't read every page yet but what I liked about this book is that it gives you a brief introduction into dart programming language before diving into flutter concepts. And one more thing which is 3 flutter applications in the end which is awesome. Thank you author.

If you are new to flutter and want to start from scratch, go elsewhere. This books is for those Flutter Enthusiasts who already have basic background. A lot of parts in the book are without steps, the author assumes you know a certain great deal of things. This book can be improved a lot.
