Tesco Malted Milk Biscuits 200g (Pack of 6)

Delicious English coffee or tea cookie.

Good. Light and grainy

These are actually quite good, especially with a cup of tea in the morning/afternoon, but may not be suited to the American palate. We're used to our cookies being much sweeter. These are NOT sweet, but very mildly flavorful. I challenge you to close your eyes, take a bite, and TASTE. Personally, I can't taste the malt very well and I bought them for the malt. I probably won't get these again, though they were good, different. I like trying new things, but am happy to go back to the Irish shortbread cookies that are my favorites!

I decided to go 'British' and drink tea and offer biscuits to my guests. I am a big fan of malt so I blindly bought this six pack. Wow wow wow It turned out to be everyones favorite! Even those who weren't into malt really loved this delightful biscuit. Just yummy. There is a taste of malt but it adds to the creaminess without being overpowering. The favorite of six different biscuits I served my guest all winter long!

These biscuits are nice but only about six in a packet worth eating the rest was crumbs they were shipped just in a plastic wrapping if shipped in a box might have arrived undamaged

I got something similar from the UK through a friend and I'd been searching for the type in stores to no avail. I tried this and it's so amazing. I highly recommend.

At first I was anxious about paying almost $30 for 6 packs of cookies or biscuits I've never tried before; but there were so many good reviews I took the chance. Plus, prior to this and being a fan of British snacks, I Googled to see which of their biscuits are better and have the least sugar content. These malted milk biscuits, specifically the Tesco brand came at #1. They arrived within 2 days and were in very good condition, not crushed, tasted fresh and just worth the price. Considering it has 1.5 gm sugar per cookie, it still has the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth, and afternoon or midnight snack cravings. I plan or ordering these again. The packaging is clean and kept the cookies intact. They also put a sticker outside on the bubble wrap around the cookie packages that has the expiration date.
