I have been using Bosch bandsaw blades for years because they were available locally, but have always ordered Olson scroll saw blades. Well, decided to give Olson band saw blades a shot and the difference between the two is night and day. I am fixing to take back 4 blades I ordered from Lowes because after using the Olson blade, I just cant go back to Bosch. Why? The Olson blades cut thru 3/4 pine with half the force required from other blades and the smoothness of the cut is 10X cleaner. As for durability, I do a lot of repeat cuts and the Olson blade cut a little over 2X what the other blades cut.

This blade cuts quickly and makes tight turns. It doesn't leave the finest finish, however, so get a finer tooth blade if you don't want to sand too much.

I ordered 5 of these blades as I use my band saw daily .These are long lasting and cut wood like butter .I install them on my 14 inch JET and give them a heavy duty workout cuttingmostly common pine boards .Well worth the money .

I bought this blade to replace the Bosch I bought at the big box store. This blade was twice the price, but 10 times better. The Bosch blade had a drift that was well over an inch. The Olson blade cuts much straighter. I also like the fact that the Olson blade cut through 4/4 oak like butter. The big box blade required far more force for the same cut. I would say that the Olson blade is comparable to the Timberwolf blades but at a slightly cheaper price. Buy the Olson, and you will not be disappointed. I'm an avid home woodworker and have been for over 20 years.

Just installed this in my 14" Grizzly band saw. Wow, what a difference it made. My other blade felt sharp bust labored through 2x4 cuts even after cleaning the blade. This blade cuts like butter and when doing resaw it was clean and stright.

I am an experienced amateur furniture maker, and purchased this blade to do some resawing of quartersawn white oak in a Grizzly G0555 14" band saw. Once fitted, tensioned and adjusted, I found it tracked perfectly straight and provided a good combination of cutting speed, wood removal speed and finish. While I have this far only cut approximately 20 linear feet of oak with the blade, I am very pleased with the results and would recommend one to anyone considering purchasing a blade for a similar purpose.
