This is perfect for what I needed and it exceeds my expectations. I am new to hammock camping, I saw this type of product for the first time last summer (2019). I was at a Boy Scout Camp with my sons and all of the kids as well as most of the leaders had hammock setups. I had a hammock and a bug net, so I set mine up and was hooked. I had to get a tarp after the camp, but then started figuring out exactly how I wanted to set my system up. While I was at the camp, one of the leaders had a type of sleeve for his setup. During the day he wrapped up his whole outfit and if it rained, it didn't matter. His equipment was dry and completely ready to go in about 5 minutes. I came home and looked on Amazon, finding this product. I bought it and then went to town on my hammock rig. With this sleeve I am able to functionally store the hammock, the in place netting, the under quilt, and all of my straps, biners, and rigging lines. When I'm camping it allows me to protect the setup during the day (without having to re-rig everything) and when I'm home I can put the hammock away ready to go in about 10 minutes.Now, I'm not going to lie, my setup is not exactly for hiking. It's not super heavy, but it is cumbersome. This is more for drive in camping. By the time I get everything in this sleeve and cinched up, I really have a 12' tight roll of hammock equipment. I roll it up, squishing out the air, and put it all in a stuff sack. The only thing this sleeve doesn't hold is my camp blanket (which it actually probably could but I use it for other things and want it handy, and my pillows. These items go into the stuff sack which ends up being about 10lbs and is the size of a medium back pack when completely full. I can completely deploy my hammock, netting, ridgeline, and fly in about 6 minutes. The underquilt is already in place in the sleeve, all I have to do is adjust it around the hammock to make sure its positioned properly.The sleeve is functional and holds all the gear. I've had it almost a year and camped about 6 times with it. It is perfect. I've bought one for both my sons and will get one for my wife soon. Couldn't be happier.

I love it I have been looking into getting something like this for my hammock I used to use a net to do the same thing but it didn't protect the hammock and I ended up missing one of my hammocks up what's so great about this is it will actually protect the hammock and as you can see you don't have to use a wise owl Outfitters hammock in the outside pictures that is and 11 foot dutchware chameleon hammock and the one picture inside is mine Wise Owl Outfitters double hammock another good thing this protective cover does is it saves space I sleep in a hammock every night and before I would either have to take my hammock down every night so that way it didn't take up a bunch of rooms now with the protective cover put on it's inches everything into one small area so I can leave it hang and it's not in the way and I'm almost positive I could also fit my tarp in there as well I love Wise Owl Outfitters their products are very durable and at a great price I couldn't find any flaws in the stitching or in the materials I am very satisfied

This came today and, being from Seattle, I was stoked to put it on my brand new hammock. I put the first end on and cinched it down tight and slowly shimmied the rest of the sock down the hammock body, feeling myself grow more nervous as the final end stopped about four inches from the hammock end. Well, nuts. So I fiddled with it and made both ends a little exposed. Will this work? I don't know. Will the exposure cause damage to the ends or potentially make the whole cotton hammock a soggy mess? Still don't know. Do I live in a rainy area and will I soon find out? Yes, yes I will. Nice packaging (it comes in its own little stuff sack) and seems to be well-made.

It keeps your hammock dry. Rolls on and off pretty easy. Definitely worth it for hammock camping. Weighs almost nothing. Also helps keep junk in the air like seeds and dust from collecting in your hammock while you're away.

I have my second white Nicamaka hammock...the first got quite dirty and deteriorated so I wanted to keep this one clean. It's fits really well and easy to move to the top of the hammock and to put it back in place....and the gray color works better for me than another similar hammock sleeve I found online that was a bright blue and was actually a bit more costly and not in stock.

Easy to use, fully covers my hammock and keeps it completely dry. This is my second one. The first one lasted for years until it finally ripped as we were putting it on too quickly. This was after keeping it outside three seasons a year during all kinds of weather here in the Midwest and we use our hammock a lot.

This is a genius product. I don’t have to unhook and put away my hammock every time there’s a chance of rain. I can just slide the cover down it when I’m not using it, and push it back to one end when I want to sit in the hammock! It’s so easy it took me 10 minutes to get the hammock down, the cover on it, and get the hammock back up, when I installed in a week or so ago. Since then I’ve used it daily with no issues. I get to lay in a nice, dry, clean, and vibrantly colored hammock, every time. No more sun fading. Happy customer here. I would recommend, and I would buy it for gifts! And no, I’m not getting paid to say that, lol.
