Folkmanis Winnie The Pooh - Disney Character Puppet, Gold, Red, Gray, 1 EA (5021)

Folkmanis in my opinion is one of the best puppet companies. The Pooh character is from the book rather than the animation. It is close to the live action Pooh in the 2018 movie “Christopher Robin”. The Winnie the Pooh puppet is plush and soft. My grand daughter loves it especially when I operate it. I have always loved how Folkmanis pays attention to detail. I have numerous Folkmanis puppets including Skeleton Jack and Zero from Tim Burton’s “Nightmare before Christmas” from 1993. Those I bring out every Halloween as a tradition. Some of my favorites are the alligator, octopus, and of course my first puppet being the snail, which I have used for various children book reading events. If you enjoy puppets, especially in interactions with family children or have children that enjoy putting on a puppet show then Folkmanis has a puppet for you.I do not work for Folkmanis nor have I relieved any promotional items, gratuities, or payment from Folkmanis or Amazon for endorsing this product. I am a verified purchaser of the Winnie the Pooh and many other Folkmanis puppets. I highly recommend their puppets. That being said I will point out that I have had one puppet, a pine martin, that had a squished in nose making it one puppet that I don’t use, however all the rest are of top quality.

I like that Winnie-the-Pooh is a jointed well made stuffed bear.I like that I just slip my hand under his jacket and into the puppet hole - not up his rear end.I liked the feel of the material with which he is made.I was disappointed I couldn't (even with my 8" hand span) make him clap his hands, but that is my problem, and he did wave one arm at my granddaughter. I'll find a way!I bought Winnies for my own entertainment - covid19 has paused my school volunteering.

I still love,and grew up with Winnie the Pooh and so did my daughter. She is going to love him for Christmas.What a great gift for the collector or child. This 'Pooh looks just like the movie, Christopher Robin. I was impressed by that. This lovable guy is 18" standing,soft and cuddly, he is very cute and adorable. So, if you love 'Pooh, get him. Especially for the collectors. Also,fast delivery. I bought 'Pooh on the 1st,and he arrived in the mail yesterday on the 4th.

Never own a puppet before but this one is very unique. Looks way better than what Disney put out for Christopher Robin collection. I love classic Winnie the Pooh but strangely enough I’ve grown to this one. Very soft. Looked exactly as pictured.

I love this quy, of course I love anything Pooh related, He is easy to use as a puppet or just to cuddle. He is adorable.

An adorable well made puppet.

Compared to the earlier official merchandise, this puppet looks a lot more like the actual Pooh in the "Christopher Robin" movie because of the fur material used. I still find it easy to use as a puppet despite having big hands. One can control the mouth or the arms. For me, it's difficult or nearly impossible to do both at the same time.The box it came with was a lot bigger (and thinner) than the actual item. The item got too squished inside the plastic bag, so it took some time for Pooh to reshape. However, delivery time was shorter than expected.Highly satisfied customer.
