These are great wood screws. They do not require pilot holes and are easy to use. The six-point head is very strong - my drill or screwdriver does not slip off the head like usually happens with Phillips-head screws. Nice design for the self-tapping threads that makes it easy to screw all the way in.

I used to use Primeguard Max construction screws, but the heads would constantly break off or the stars would strip out with minimal torque. I switched to GRK after getting fed up with that, and they have been GREAT. I've never had a head break off with these. I've maybe had one or two heads strip out when I really cranked down out of thousands of screws. They go in cleanly, almost never cause splits, and make secure connections that supposedly have structural shear ratings (though you will probably want the 3 1/2" length for that). The coating on them is rated for ACQ pressure treated lumber as well. Love these.

These were wonderful. So use to phillips head bits getting stripped. this grabs ahold and sinks in gracefully and perfectly.

The screws are of very good quality. I have used different types of this brand, and they never disappoint. Only reason I gave 4 stars is the price increase. Increased $2 since I last bought it a few weeks ago. This is the most annoying thing about buying things on Amazon, price increases when you buy something.

They're strong and will never let you down. I absolutely love reaching for these when doing a woodworking project.

Quality is excellent and the driver that comes with them is particularly sturdy. I'll never go back to Philips heads again.
