Salt Reduced Vegemite 235gm

Delicious, my morning is not complete without Vegemite. Perfect for a pre-run snack or breakfast on toast…that salty goodness cannot go wrong.

Good, less salty taste

I was eager to try a lower sodium Vegemite but I was disappointed in the flavor. It seems to have sort of a weird aftertaste that I can't get past. I know that sounds weird given the strong flavor of regular Vegemite, but it's true. I wouldn't purchase it again and in fact just ordered some of the regular kind and threw this one out. I'm sorry it didn't work I was hoping it would.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. After hearing about the high salt content of original Vegemite, I wanted get something that I could enjoy frequently without worrying about salt consumption. My purchase of this product gave me just that. It has the same great taste of original Vegemite, but I feel good about eating it. My only complaint is that the jar arrived a little beat up. The label had some tears, and there were a few nicks in the jar itself. However, the Vegemite itself was untouched and unharmed, so I couldn't in good conscience give this product any less than 5 stars. I do have a jar of original Vegemite in my pantry, which I do plan to keep eating on occasion, but this reduced salt version will be my staple Vegemite.

One arvo I got a sudden craving for Vegemite so I got on the dog and bone to see if my sis could chuck me some across the pond but strewth! You’d have to have a few roos loose in the top paddock to pay the shipping on that from straya, not to mention Auspost is as useful as tits on a bull—so I took a gander at Amazon to see if they could deliver it to me out woop woop and you beaut there it is! I like this low salt version better than the original, now I can really lay it on thick for brekky! I woulda been devo if it tasted off or was iffy but it’s true blue! I miss grabbing a pie at the servo, but that’s a problem for another time. Ta!

Vegemite is spreadable (about the consistency of warm cream cheese) unlike the Marmite which you actually can get in person at Whole Foods, and this one is not deathly salty like the regular flavor of either.

Very slightly different taste but happy about the reduced sodium

Tastes exactly like vegemite should, it just has less salt so people who watch their salt intake can still enjoy it.

Tastes ok but very healthy and the salt reduces is even better.
