Life Is Peachy Ogv

I have always loved this album, and I'm so thankful I finally got the cd. It's in perfect, brand-new condition.

I would really give this 3.5 stars because it does not deliver the way it should. Maybe for 5 dollars that's a fair price but this could've been so much better than it was. Maybe it was because of how messed up Jon Davis was. They had songs like Proud, Sean Olson, and Kick the PA that they could've put on here instead of soundtracks to make up for the filler but they chose to just kind of have a really strange metal/rap/funky thing going on (theres an Ice Cube cover of "Wicked", one of the few good tracks). The 1-4 range from unnecessary to B-side worthy then you get songs that are classics like "Good God", "No Place to Hide", "ADIDAS", "Wicked", I actually liked the playfullness of "Lowrider", "KE&%E" gets old, " so does "Ass Itch", however "Kill Me" is a really cool track that is very sincere and off the rails heavy emotionally and musically. So yes there are huge upsides on here but they are surrounded my mediocrity and disappointment. Chino Moreno of the Deftones ( consider them to be superior to Korn) guests on Wicked but Korn definitely is awesome sometimes on this album, it should just be charged for like 5 bucks like an EP or something or bought used for cheap. Recommended to Korn fans and hard rock fans.

I just don't know why, people consistently rate this album as "mediocre." Korn hit big time when I was like 13 or so (that perfect age), and we were all wearing Adidas jumpsuits and piercing our eyebrows, trying to grow dreadlocks. Their test was for the follow up to their debut, and it did not disappoint. I don't know if I just appreciate the "musicality" of this album, that most people don't recognize, but when I go to a random "Best Korn Album" list, and see "Follow the Leader" or "See You on the Other Side," I'm literally dumbfounded. Their first album was good. It was fresh. We hadn't heard or seen anything like Korn before. But their second album had a certain focused, tasteful, and frankly "original" style to it that I didn't see on any of their albums after. I'm sure it was missed by as many as loved the first album. Most music artists will have that "sweet spot" in their careers, where the stars align, and wonderful music seems to flow effortlessly out of their hands. And then the inevitable regression from that peak happens. A commercial music artist gets a taste of success, and is stark raving mad to somehow repeat that process, of course being ushered on by their record company exec. But everything Korn did after, especially "Issues," was pure dog crap to me. So, alas. Korn became "un-hip" gradually after this album. Should they burn at the stake? No. It happens to the majority of 'em. These guys were riding the wave of life, and happened to make some money in the process. But if you want to know why Korn was "cool" at one time, this is why.

Excelente calidad

Life is indeed Peachy. When you put this cd in your player it is anyway. This album, if you're into this sorta thing should send you into ecstasy. I loved this album back in the day and love it even more now regardless of what anyone else says. Such a great band in all areas, each individual member executes their role perfectly to combine into one amazing sound. Don't pass up on the chance to listen to a band of such great caliber, and one of the only bands I can think of that hasn't been replicated by a million other bands, if its through respect for the band, or the fact that only koRn can execute such an amazing individual sound it shows that this band are something special and worth the few pounds it costs to get their album.

Already had disc. Got little scratches on it. So ordered a another one as a back up. This cd is the best works from korn . Happy to have 2 discs now 🤘😈
