REVAMP Progloss 5500 Lightweight Hairdryer with Diffuser and Concentrator for Smooth or Voluminous Hair, Black

I bought this to use the defuser with it as i have curly hair. I follow the curly girl method and the cool setting on this is great as well as the freeze shot. It did not make my curls frizzy and dry like other hair dryers. It is a little heavy but no heavier than the ghd one and much smaller.I was skeptical about it as the reviews say that the attachments fall off easily, however I did notice that you need to really push them on until they click then they are very sturdy. It is easy to think its on correctly but it hasn't clicked, then it will drop off. The attachments do get hot but if you just use the cool shot for a few seconds before turning it off it cools then right down and you can touch it no problem. I don't see this as a negative as its heat with plastic, its going to heat up. I wouldn't say it was hot enough to burn you unless you held it tightly for a good while.Overall i think its a great product and well worth the money.

Great hairdryer very powerful and meets all my needs /easy to use and lightweight, with different heat settings. Would recommend.

This product is such a shame because its a great hair dryer (power wise), but is TORTUROUS to use considering the attachments (both straight and diffuser) fall off constantly and when they do are so scolding hot you can't touch them. I would say they fall off about every minute. It makes drying your hair a nightmare.I've owned this since 2020 and regret my decision that I bought it, despite reading a review at the time about the attachments. Don't make the same mistake as me! :(My theory is that when the plastic of the attachments heats up, it softens slightly and the click is no longer effective.

Fast drying and good accessories. Like the volume and smooth features. It's a little heavy but weight distribution is good so feels comfortable in your hand. Really happy with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Updated: reduce to 2 stars, the attachments fall off mid use and will burn you. The attachement is so hot that you cannot touch it for at almost 10 mins..Initially: so I really wanted to get the Revamp 4000 but was not willing to pay the £99. So I compared the 5000 and the 5500 and purchased this 5500 because it gives both negative and positive ions, one for smoothing and the other for volume as well as the extra diffuser. So lost 1 star because of presentation in box, i wasnt overly enthused at the initial sight of this dryer simply because I thought it should have been packaged in a clear bag inside the box and secondly there was no plastic cover on the plug as would mostly be with electricals, BUT maybe I'm just odd. Revamp could have made an effort here considering the price.. wasnt expecting a bow but you know what I mean. I definately noticed the shine difference when i was finished drying, normally my hair is dull but this highlighted my golden highlights really really well that I could see the individual strands stand out. I have fine, dry untamed hair and the smoothing I didn't notice much but that was down to my bad drying technique. Noise wise it is much quieter than any hair dryer I've had, initially it felt a bit on the heavy side but when using, it found it to be quite manageable and no sore arms after. You can alter the heat and speed to your pleasing which is great, and better if you know what you're doing.. I dont, I'm no hair dresser. The feel of the dryer is really nice, non slip in your hand and feels like light rubber. This cost should be £99 which I would not pay, but this was on offer at £66ish plus i had a voucher to put towards it.

Finally a hair dryer which can tame my thick and naturally curly hair. Love the wide direction head, heat settings and power. Don’t get this model confused with the lower wattage version. The control switches on the handle are a little awkwardly positioned but that might be because I’m used to them in a different position. Also the direction head - which gets extremely hot of course, is tricky to turn around and falls off at regular intervals. However a small price to pay for luscious wavy or straight locks. I’ve not needed to use my straighteners at all. Would definitely recommend.

Good Product but i returned because the plug looks cheap.

Overall a great product but the diffuser attachment comes off too easily, slightest touch or quick movement and it just falls off
