Vortex Crossfire HD 10x50 Binoculars

Arrived and took them outside and put them to work. Great pair they are! Easy to focus with or without glasses. Not to heavy and a good feel to them, easy to grip. Comes with strap and also chest rig to keep them in while hiking to free up your hands. Purchased for an upcoming trip to Ireland and then to the Mach Loop in Wales. Plenty of time to see how they handle wet weather during the trip. Will update when we return in late April.

I use Vortex Crossfire scopes on all my rifles. So went into this purchase with the knowledge of how good and affordable these binos were going to be. And they didnt disappoint. The really fit the bill for just about any person. Hunter, bird / nature watcher. Powerful enough to reach out with. Small enough to fit into most chest bino bags. They dont feel heavy or cumbersome. And the lens quality is amazing. So much so that they will focus as close as 10 feet from you. 10 FEET!!! As for distance, I could read the letters on a walmart box at 500 to 600 yards away. The only real complaint I have is the lens covers. But its not just these, its most brands. The rubber independent lens covers are just dumb. They are a pain to keep on when putting into a bino bag and always come off when pulling them out of the bag. Also in this price point you can expect no padding on the part that butts up to your eyes. Just hard plastic with a rubberized film. If Vortex would just work on those two aspects, they could take a bigger part of the market.

I am a loyal Vortex customer. I own a couple of rifle scopes, but this is the first set of binoculars that I have bought. The focus is precise and sharp. Focus adjustment is very responsive. The sharp picture is impressive. These binoculars appear to be tough and well-built. I am quite pleased with their quality and performance. I am not as thrilled with the harness and case. Of course, the harness is added as an enticement, but it is very rudimentary and insubstantial. If you want something of better fit and a bit sturdier you will have to buy the upgraded harness that Vortex offers. It's not a big deal, just a consideration. The case is difficult to fasten with one hand because the hook tends to recess into the surface when you try to secure it. Again, a minor point but a different sort of snap might have been better. I am completely happy with the binocular itself. I have never had a complaint about the performance or the quality of any Vortex device. They make outstanding optics.

Fantastic binoculars for the money! The weight, features, quality, east to use and stability using the included straps is top notch. These are easily the quality of binoculars that retail for $1200-1800.

Great field of view and easy adjustment

I use this binoculars when I go hunting, some thing that I liked is that I can use it while wearing my eyeglasses. The price is okay. I can see perfectly animals about 700 yards away. Buy it!!

Para el precio que tienen van realmente bien, buena calidad de imagen incluso entre los contrastes de luz y sombras. Buena calidad en horas crepusculares. Falta probarlos en invierno por si se llegan a empañar aunque no deberían

Das Fernglas hat ein sehr hilfreiches Zubehör dabei. Dazu gehört vor allem die Tragetasche mit verschiedenen Tragemöglichkeiten (Brust/Rücken Schulter). Toll ist, dass das Fernglas selbst ebenfalls am Tragegurt befestigt und somit jederzeit gesichert werden kann. Die klare Sicht (bis hin zum Rand) ist meiner Meinung nach bezogen auf Preis/Leistung auf hohem Niveau. Allerdings braucht es ruhige Hände, um auf große Entfernung "kleinere" Details zu erkennen, wie z.B. der Gesichtsausdruck eines Menschen auf ca. 200m. Da fehlt dann doch der Bildstabilisator für mich. Solche Ferngläser sind allerdings um ein vielfaches teurer. Achja, die Sehschärfe einstellen: Sehr einfach und praktikabel! Insofern klare Empfehlung für Menschen, die das Fernglas in ruhiger Umgebung nutzen wollen.
