Not pretty but it works
This is a switch (kind of a like a lamp switch that you use to turn the lamp on/off) for USB devices. It has a USB female connector on one end and a male connector on the other end. It's not complicated, and it works. I use it to turn on/off a wifi router that is powered by a USB cable. Pros - It works as expected! - Ok price - Decent length Cons - Not the most aesthetic This is a very basic USB mechanical on/off switch, it looks low-end but it works great.

Perfect For A Blue Yetti Microphone
My Blue Yetti microphone does not have an on/off switch and I don't like leaving it "hot" all the time or having to unplug and then re-plug it back in every time I want to use it. This inline switch works perfectly and does not add any noise or distortion. PERFECT!

Easy fix for autoconnecting wireless carplay adapter.
Needed a way to shut off the wireless carplay adapter in my Jeep Grand Cherokee without having to constantly unplug the USB. This was the solution. No more autoconnecting when Im in the garage and the jeeps on the other side of the door. Functions as it should. But cant speak to durability just yet as its only a day old. Good value for the money.

Works great with Android Auto
Fixes the issue perfectly This solved the problem with the USB port in my 2022 Nissan Frontier staying powered on continuously. It also still allows data to pass through, so everything works as expected. Now I don’t have to keep unplugging my device every time I get out of the truck. Simple fix and highly recommended.

Great For Gaming Setups
This cable delivers exactly what it promises. It’s a small accessory, but one that adds noticeable convenience to certain setups like my gaming chair. Pros: Switch Function Works Well: The on/off switch is very responsive. Build Quality: The cable feels decently made. The switch doesn’t feel very flimsy, and the connection is solid with no noticeable lag. Minor Cons: Switch Isn’t Labeled: There’s no light indicator to show if the switch is on or off, which can be slightly annoying depending on your setup. Bottom Line: This is a great little tool for anyone who wants a little more control over their USB powered devices. It’s especially good for items like gaming chairs that have short USB cables for their massaging sections. Could benefit from slight adjustments, but overall I recommend.

Ich habe mir diesen Schalter gekauft, um zwei USB Soundkarten parallel am PC betreiben zu können. Ich habe zwei USB Soundkarten von Creative Labs, die Soundblaster X4 und X5. Das Problem ist das beide Soundkarten nicht gleichzeitig von der Creative Labs Steuerungssoftware verwaltet werden können. Die Soundblaster X5 kann man zwar per Knopf am Gerät ausschalten, die X4 aber nicht. Dieser Schalter brachte die Lösung und funktioniert hervorragend. Will ich die X5 betreiben, schalte ich mit diesem Schalter erstmal die X4 aus und dann die X5 ein. Umgekehrt funktioniert auch alles gut und auch die Erkennung über den USB 3.0 Port macht keinerlei Probleme beim ein und ausschalten. Besser als gedacht, zugegebenermaßen. Ich musste jedoch noch ein USB C auf USB A Kabel zwischen stecken, da die Soundblaster X4 einen USB C Anschluss hat, dieser Schalter aber nur USB A unterstützt. Aber wie gesagt, alles gut und ich bin froh diese preiswerte und auch ganz elegante Lösung gefunden zu haben. Denn das händische Ein und Ausstecken der Soundkarte am PC wäre für mich keine Lösung gewesen. Die Qualität ist eher einfach, aber zweckmäßig. Ich kann da natürlich nicht reinschauen, aber ich glaube das es für den Zweck ausreichend ist. Schließlich werde ich damit wohl nicht sehr viele Schaltvorgänge vornehmen müssen. Das Kabel ist aber angenehm mit einem Stoffgeflecht ummantelt. Das fühlt sich schon mal recht hochwertig an. Sollte es später Probleme oder Fehlfunktionen geben, werde ich diese Rezension entsprechend korrigieren. Aber bis jetzt volle Kaufempfehlung.
