Fixed arm is worth the savings.
Doesn’t tilt back far enough to open the tailgate of ‘18 Jeep Wrangler 4 door.Kind of floppy latching..should’ve replaced with the fixed unit, again.

Better than the original arm!
When I had to replace the arm on my Saris bike rack, this was perfect. It not only upgraded the rack so I could tilt it, but it was more stable than the original arm that came with my rack. It saved me hundreds of dollars to replace the entire rack.

Producto averiado
Se evidencia la falta de cuidado en los envíos. La manija pull para abatir el portabicicletas llegó quebrado, afortunadamente pude idear la manera de utilizarlo pero no quedó original.

Avoid the Universal Hitch version! Might be made in America, but it's not made well.
Apparently they make flimsy junk in America too. Avoid all versions of the Superclamp 2 or 4 bike rack which have the dual 1 1/4" and 2" receiver mounts. I bought the SuperClamp 2-Bike EX rack less than a year ago to carry two 40 lb bikes (it is rated for two 60 lb bikes). I have had continuous problems with this base even though it is mounted in a 2" receiver. I wanted the 2" only version but they were sold out so I went with this model after assurances from the local bike shop that is was robust. You will have a serious panic attack after you cross your first railroad track as you see your bikes major side to side wobble and hear your handlebars smack into the back of your vehicle. The tilting feature became bound up and was almost impossible to use after a few trips. Repeated calls and e-mails to customer service only produced apologies and excuses. Had to wait months for new stock to arrive and spend another $179.99 to upgrade the tilting base to the 2" model. Now the rack is much stiffer and tilting works well. Please note, switching to the 2" version will result in the rack being 2.5" lower and extending 5 3/8" further out from your bumper.
