Although sold as a hiking staff, I purchased this for my boyfriend who struggles with severe walking difficulties, and it has become an essential part of his daily life. Unlike standard canes, which often buckle under pressure, this staff is incredibly sturdy and dependable. It gives him the confidence to walk without fear of his support failing. I am a partially disabled veteran and I live in the desert. I am always out and about. I run across coyotes and other wild life from time to time. I feel I have an extra level of protection as well as a Very well made, sturdy and durable piece of equipment. Easy to size to your height and plenty of options. Due to my disability I have to use a cane from time to time and this perfect fit that as well. I take out a section or two and I’m ready to go. I take it with me everywhere. ( I get a lot of compliments on my cane at the VA hospital ) BUY THIS. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY

I really like this walking stick. It's heavy duty and a good value for the money. It is a heavy weight, but I don't think it's to heavy. I am short and wish it had a 1/2 tube option. Having all the pieces in it makes it slightly to tall but if I take one out it feels to short. I also wish it had a built in wrist strap or a hole so one can be added. The treads squeaked so I lubricated the threads and they are easier to put together and take apart.

The walking stick is wonderful it is a little heavy but it is way solid and each insert piece is 6.9 in long so you can adjust the height. The tools are hidden inside each of the sections and you simply have to remove the section flip the tool from one end to the other and you're ready to go. However the non-skid end skids on tile and slick surfaces. no big deal. I changed it. With five sections and my new tip it is exactly the right height for me to use as a cane bearing weight on the end of the T handle when I have shoes on. I am 6'0" tall.

I bought this because my physical therapist told me to get rid of my cane and buy a walking stick. I broke my pelvis and a few vertebrae. Now I need something to keep me upright when I walk with my new funny walk. This is an amazing walking pole. It has grips every six inches, so when I need to bend over, or get up from a seat, I can grab it at various heights. It is also rock solid, with no flex to it. It's great for going up and down inclines. I am so glad I bought this instead of one of the fiberglass ones. It does weigh more. I think it weighs about four pounds. Which is about twice what my cane weighed. I purchased two extensions, so it is pretty tall. I think the plain product without any extensions is a little too short. But even with two extensions it was only a hundred bucks and that is less than most of the better fiberglass poles. So if you are recovering from a serious injury, this is the walking pole you want. I didn't buy any of the cool accessories. I may regret that if I ever get stranded in the Yukon Territory. But I plan on not letting that happen.

I bought 3 of these for my adult sons. Two didn’t come with the topper handle with the flint stick and Amazon just wanted to refund the entire item. I was able to reach out to the owner and he said he couldn’t gaurantee he could replace them but there they were a few days later in the mailbox in time for Christmas too!! These reviews were right on the spot! My sons were a little surprised why I got them but they truly loved them as they love anything along the line of sporting, hunting/fishing or anything survival related!! Very sturdy and I showed them the first review on this site and how there’s more than just one way to join the pieces together! Very pleased with this purchase!!

Husband has really enjoyed this and loves all the hidden things in it. He is very pleased with it.

Where do I start if you want to use this for a hiking stick FORGET IT way to heavy and the tools are very hard to access now for a defense cane it's the hammer of Thor I only used 1 tool so it wasn't to tall for me many places to put your own things the tip is worthless the tip that has a fire rod you will fall on your back side i received 3 rubber tip so if it gets wet np. We'll worth the money but beware it's heavy

Great concept & design, modular with add-ons, ultimate hiking/survival staff, strong & valuable.. down side is, a bit heavy, tip is hard and slippery on hard surfaces.

I'm very impressed by the quality of this item. It is very versatile and sturdy. I do think the bottom section that contains the fire steel would have been better if it had a rubber ferrule rather than being made out of one piece of plastic, but I'm sure it could easily be modified. I also feel that a strategically placed piece of sticky tape would have improved a certain aspect.

Solid walking stick even if I find it a little heavy just means little more of walk out ! For me the fit is amazing given before I had adjustable and fold up stick it's solid I don't feel rattle of the parts when I am moving not like it isn't solid the moments all my weight is on it I am reliving on it the most It's great value for money as these are thick metal tubes making up the length I also live the fact I can leave the tools in the bag making it my go to stick for not just dog walking but walking normally finding the extra weight is a good workout 😁💪

Schwere und stabile Ausführung. Tools innen drinnen robust. Die grobe Säge ist etwas stumpf. Die feine top. Mit dem Fischspeer könnte man Kleinwild jagen. Die Knaufenden eignen sich zum Nägel einschlagen ohne das Kratzer entstehen. Die voll modulare Bauweise lässt alle möglichen Endprodukte entstehen. Vom Wanderstock bis zum kubotan bis zum Polizeistock. Nichts für Kinder jedenfalls.

Der Artikel kommt sicher und neutral verpackt an. Die beiliegende Tasche ist durchaus nützlich und kann für andere Outdoor Aktivitäten sinnvoll zweckentfremdet werden. Der Gehstock mit seinen drei Werkzeugen ist gut verarbeitet. Die Gewinde sind sauber geschnitten, die Lackierung/Beschichtung ist gut und ohne festzustellende Mängel. Einzig die silbernen Dekostreifen waren mir ein Dorn im Auge und ich habe sie direkt angeschliffen und schwarz lackiert. Somit ist der Gehstock nun einheitlich schwarz. Die drei Werkzeuge, Speerspitze, Astsäge und "Doppelmesser" sind in Notfällen sicherlich besser, als keine Werkzeuge aber zur dauerhaften Nutzung im Outdoor Bereich keinesfalls ausreichend dimensioniert, hierzu ist der Gehstock so denke ich auch nicht konzipiert. Die Klingenstärken betragen 3mm. Die Speerspitze ist 95mm lang, davon die reine Klinge 45mm. Die Astsäge ist 100mm lang, davon Schnittlänge 90mm. Das Doppelmesser, so habe ich es getauft, hat zwei gegenüberliegende Klingen mit einer Länge von 83mm, ein normaler Klingenschliff und eine Säge, gröber als die Astsäge. Zudem befindet sich hieran eine Art Dosenöffner. Ob dieser funktioniert, sei mal dahingestellt. Der T-Griff hat ist aufgeschraubt und hat zwei verstärkte abschraubbare Kappen. Unter einer der Kappen befindet sich ein Glasbruch Hammer / Stahldorn. Auch dieser kann in Notfallsituationen nützlich sein. Positiv zu erwähnen sind noch die einzelnen Schraubelemente, diese sind an ihren Gewinden, jeweils mit 4mm starken Gummiringen versehen. So sollte keine Feuchtigkeit eindringen und die Hohlräume können z.B. für Streichhölzer, Kienspan, Feuerstarter oder andere Utensilien genutzt werden. Hier kann man auch eine ordentliche Menge Geldscheine, Zigaretten, einen Zigarre, Medikamente oder was auch immer unterbringen. Einziger Nachteil: Der Gehstock ist schwer, das kann man nicht schönreden. Er wiegt mit seinen 8 Elementen, ohne zusätzliche Gadgets inkl. Tasche: 2.160g. Auf meine Größe ( 178cm ) angepasst, heißt: 5 Elemente zzgl. T-Griff, inkl. der drei Werkzeuge und ohne Tasche, wiegt er 1.315g. In dem Zustand ist er 103cm lang. Fazit: Abgesehen von dem erhöhten Gewicht, im Vergleich zu normalen Gehstöcken und abgesehen von den etwas filigran dimensionierten Werkzeugen, bietet der Gehstock ein Stück Sicherheit auf dem Trail. Nicht nur zum Abstützen, sondern auch mit der Option, einige wichtige Dinge trocken und unsichtbar transportieren zu können, bietet Gehstock, in Kombination mit der im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Tasche, eine optimale Lösung für Wanderungen im leicht unwegsamen Gelände. Mit der Option, im Notfall ungewollten Besuch, welcher Art auch immer, auf Distanz zu halten. Beim Führen eines solchen Gerätes, sollten zwingend und vorab, geltende Gesetze und Vorschriften des jeweiligen Landes, der Region oder auch des Parks beachtet werden.
