Good for resonators
Preferred for resonator guitars as string squeaks are diminished. I get 3-6 months out of a set. Wash your hands before playing!

Warm strings for Ibanez baritone.
My Ibanez baritone is obnoxiously bright with all other strings I've tried. I used the resophonic set and they sound great. I was a bit worried about string tension, but a little relief on the truss rod and they sound great tuned B to B. I just put them on, so I'll have to see how they age, and they're pricey, but if I don't have to change them often it's probably okay. Who knows, maybe manufacturers will start producing more options for baritones (hint hint, silk and steel).

In My Opinion
I use D'Addario strings on all of my stringed instruments. I am currently using the D'Addario Acoustic guitar flat tops phosphor strings on two acoustic guitars and two Resophonic (Dobro) guitars. They produce the tone, sustain, and durability that makes them well worth the price. I highly recommend them!

Great Strings
Nice and Crisp! Good for playing slide. Sturdy for alternate tunings. I highly recomend these strings for novice or pro, from blues to honky tonk

I wanted to like these strings for slide playing
I wanted to like these strings for slide playing, but they just didn't do anything for me and I swapped out the low strings for regular ones right away. D'Addario is a great string maker, but this set didn't speak to me. The wound strings sounded subdued and didn't sound right with the slide. YMMV. I do use their reso strings and like them.

Ehrlich empfehlenswert!

Not quite there for steel guitar though.
Nice wound strings but could be a bit smoother.

I think they reduce string squeek
Needed to reduce guitar string squeek for recording on my phone. These seem to help, but time will tell if they are durable.
