Liftgate Tailgate Hatch-Handle 74810-S6A-003 For Fit 2007-2013

Took a reviewers advise and instead of removing the H molding on the outside of the hatchback, I bent the steel on the inside to maneuver the handle in order to fit...and also get the old handle out! No one will noticed the bent steal once the plastic interior cover is replaced so I went that route. Handle fits perfectly! Removal of old handle and install of new handle took about an hour...lots of wiggle and waggle to get the old one out since it was rusted in there. I have the 2010 FIT sport and it worked great! Google some videos for any help! Didnt want to chance breaking any clips on the outside of the molding and then having to purchase new clips so bending the steel was easier and quick.

Price beat the dealer and the part was a perfect fit. Installed it myself and although it's not difficult it took me over an hour. You have to pull the wiper arm off, no mean feat given it was on there for more than 10 years. I ended up breaking both the wiper arm and the puller tool. Then you have to remove the plastic trim piece from the back of the car. One of the clips is a nut and bolt that were so rusted they were basically fused together. Once that's all out of the way you moev inside the car. You have to remove the closing handle, the plastic retaining pins and the trim. Finally you can reach the old handle - mine was corroded so bad it didn't move at all any more. The part was a perfect match for the old one and fit great. Recommended and something you can do yourself if you have some patience and are a bit of a MacGuyver.

I have a 2013 Fit and a 2015 Fit. The listing says 2007-2013, so I ordered this for my 2013 Fit several months ago. Easy install, still works great. I couldn't find any similar handles for a 2015 Fit, so I recently ordered this one again to see if it was close. Fits perfectly, and the installation was even easier because it wasn't my first time. I hope I don't have to, but I would buy this again without hesitation.

This is installed on a 2013 Honda Fit where the original handle rusted and no longer functioned. To install it you need to remove the rear windshield wiper and panel which is difficult, but once installed it works perfectly.

I paid my mechanic to install the unit. He said he found another issue with the latch that he was able to do a work around fix for, but he did not report any issues with this part. In any event, this part is a good replacement part for the rusted hatchback door handle (this is a common issue on Honda Fits.)

It was exactly what I needed. Just the part that is over it is difficult to take off. It needs to be loosened, and the bolt that holds it on was also rusted, so I broke some of the plastic. It just needs to twist into the hole to take out and put in. But now that it's done it's great. Also, no issues with getting the package. All good.
