What I received is a Kalt Thermometer Box with a dial scale running from 25 to 125 degrees. It is well made, but does not match the photo on the box it was shipped in. Don't think it looks exactly like the unit shown in the amazon listing. That aside, there is a calibration wrench included. And once the vendor straightened me out on what Kalt packs in their boxes, it was no problem at all. The unit calibrated and holds its accuracy.What was in the box is a stainless steel thermometer with an 8" probe and clip with a scale range of 30 to 160 degrees. The calibration wrench is glued to the inside of the box, so I had to fish for it. Better that way.November 2016. This thing does double duty. Meat thermometer and general kitchen use. Of course I clean it before using it in the darkroom. Don't want to mess up my negatives. or food for that matter. Really like it.
