Plantar Fasciitis pain gone in 5 minutes
I don't know more to say than my pain is 95% cured in just a day and a half of using this. I have had Plantar Fasciitis for 10 years in that time I have woken up virtually every day with a stiff heel and few tentative steps as I worked out the pain before my day. Some days after running, jumping, or other activities I would suffer through pain for a day or two before it stretched out and loosened up again. In this time I've tried night splints, foot stretchers, ice massage, supportive shoes, no shoes, you name it with middling results. Last month I went on a particularly strenuous mountain hike that left me nearly unable to walk the next day due to the pain. I tried each of my past methods, and each day I morning I would reduce the pain enough to walk, but have literally been in pain all day everyday. This monday I found this roller and decided to order it with my Amazon Prime account. The box was waiting for me when I got home Wednesday. I waited until right before going to bed and gave myself about a 5 minute long massage. First broad rolls from the heel to ball but not pressing to hard in tender areas. Then continuing back to front and front to back but working the outer ligament, then middle, then inner. At this point, I wasn't sure if the pain was going away or if I was going numb, but the last couple of weeks had already sucked pretty bad so I decided to take the chance that this was healing me. I 'very' lightly rolled over the most painful parts of my heel and then began vigorously rolling the area where my heel meets the length of the foot and slowly working each roll to the front of the foot. I imagined that I was pushing the pain and calcification out through my toes each toes. That's it. 5 minutes. Next morning no pain, so I repeated the 5 minute massage. Threw on my dress shoes for morning meetings. By lunch, a small amount of pain returned so I went barefoot in the afternoon. Thursday night, repeat massage. Friday morning, no pain except when I do a really deep stretch. After I type this I give myself another rolling massage. So long story short, I am no doctor. I am chronic pain sufferer for over a decade. In that time my weight has yo-yo'd as a byproduct of my inconsistent ability to do the exercises I enjoy. No amount of drugs, stretching, or any other treatment has ever worked this fast for me. So much so that for the first time in 10 years I think I may be able to run regularly again, and maybe play soccer with my kids again. (Of course now they are teenagers and I might lose, but maybe we can play on the same team now)

Perfect for planters fasciitis foot pain
Great for planters fasciitis foot pain and is hard enough to roll out tightness but still flexible or soft enough to not cause pain. It’s super easy to use and even portable for travels. The design has small protrusions that help to roll out tenderness. I have the tiger tail roller and prefer this over a solid roller.

Good for general massage of feet
I wanted to try this out because the little green Rubz ball had been a LIFESAVER to me when I had something out of alignment in my foot that went along with a pretty severe case of plantar fascia injury. After about 5 seconds of using the green ball whatever had been out of place for a week was gently popped back in place and I felt immediate relief that then led to my foot finally recovering mostly fully over the next two weeks. I like this roller, too, but it is different in how it feels on the foot and what it seems to be for. Where the green ball presses against the foot at a tiny point that you rotate around your foot as you roll it around, which is fantastic for rolling out pinched and misaligned bits, this purple guy rolls flat along the whole bottom of the foot and feels more for general foot relaxation. The purple roller feels nice for the sake of feeling nice or on achy, tired feet, but wasn't as helpful as the green ball when the bit in my foot misaligned again. I like the purple roller just as a general massage for my feet. It does feel nice. And my boyfriend now uses it daily since he has been doing a lot of walking around, taking urban photography, meaning his feet ache from pounding the pavement. He would probably give it 5 stars, but I give it 4 since it isn't a lifesaving product for me! So again, if you have something out of place and this doesn't get it-- try that little green ball, too! :-) Best of luck!

Exceptional, Low Tech Relief for Plantar Fasciitis!!
I am in love with this foot massage roller! I suffer from plantar fasciitis and this has helped to alleviate A LOT of my heel pain in a short amount of time. As my job involves hours of sitting being tied to a phone, I am unable to get up and move around as often as I like. So, I am able to use the foot massage roller until my heart's content! I carry this one in my purse because I purchased the Due North Massage Rubz Pack which includes the Massage Ball, Foot Roller, Full Body Massage Tool and Carrying Bag for home use. When I first ordered it, I was not exactly sure what I would get or if I would even like it. I liked it as soon as I started using it! What is a big selling point for me is I am able to apply as much or as little pressure as I want and I control where it massages on my feet. It does seem to hit all the right pressure points on my feet, too. Even the edges can be used to work the knots and kinks out of poor, tired, achy feet. I don't think my feet have ever been happier! I highly recommend this product!!

Wonderful foot massage roller for achy feet!
I love, love, love this footroller! It helps to ease my everyday sore feet and it loosens up the muscles in my feet. Yes, it has some pokey parts, but this is good as they work as pressure points to work on the sore points in my feet. It hurts so good! You are only supposed to use it on one foot at a time and only for up to 15 minutes, at a time. I switch off feet on the roller, and if it hurts too much, I stop. I can feel the soreness leaving my feet, each time I use it. I have recurrent plantar faciitis and I really needed something like this! I am so glad I found it and purchased it! Utilizing this foot massage roller, combined with soaking my feet, has made all of the difference in the world, to my feet!

Nice but did not really work for me
Nice, quality product but did not work out for me. I was hoping it would help with stretching and relaxing my foot. It actually caused my foot to hurt more than it did originally. Not fault of the product. Win some, lose some.

Very helpful for PF
I suffer from plantar fasciitis from running too much on hurt heels and tight calves. This foot massage roller is exponentially more effective than using a massage ball. It has offered much relief, but is not a cure-all. You can't expect it to cure your PF, but with much hamstring and calf stretches, night splints to help keep your feet at more of a 90 degree angle to your leg, and MORE stretching, you will find relief. Also, don't forget to ice your heels or roll them with a frozen disposable water bottle (freeze with a little water poured out so it doesn't pop) when your heels start to hurt. If you continue to exercise through the pain, you will wind up with worse or chronic PF, or even heel spurs. This foot massage roller, and an inclined foam wedge for stretching my calf about 6 times a day, for 4 minutes/calf, has very much helped to reduce my PF. Good luck!
