GREAT system easy to use....
Great system, I have borrowed friends Jigs many times. Finally bought my own and couldn't be happier.Easy to use, but keep in mind I did have someone show me prior to the purchase but it seems if I were to learn on my own it would be easy with a YouTube video. I feel the price is fair, you are getting some high quality parts and you do have to pay for quality and precision manufacturing. If I were to complain about something, it would have been nice to have included a spare drill bit as well as the square drive bits. Nice to always have a back up because you never know what might happen in the middle of a project. The included screws are not worth much as you will have to purchase them anyway i you want to actually build something, Kreg, eliminate the 'sample screws' and give some backup bits!!Update: As mentioned above, this system is great! If there is one small problem with the system are the included square drive bits, they are cheap and don't grip the screws well and can easily round off. You are better off getting an different brand square drive bit, spend a little more on them and you will be much happier.!

GREAT PRODUCT, JUST HIT THE "PURCHASE " BUTTON
I'm one of those guys who has a million different kinds of tools and people break my stones over this, but I gotta say this little weapon really impressed me. So easy to use, light weight, precise, makes such a nice clean sharp joint. I used it mostly for shelves in a new shed, and again very impressed. Not one joint split on me as you might get normally on a "T" style app. where your screwing in on a 45° angle. we all have done it, just a little too deep and "crack". You will not get that with this style joint. If your even considering this purchase, do yourself a huge favor and hit the purchase button. Just as any other good weapon in your arsenal its worth the extra money you put out once and trust me you will be satisfied. Great product. Thank you

Great Kit, SUPERB Customer Service
THE KIT:Like many before me, shortly after purchasing a house (my first), I purchased this Kreg Jig for DIY projects around the new home. The K4MS Jig Master System was instrumental in building a workbench, a few different jigs, and even cabinet carcasses. It's important to keep in mind, however, that pocket-screw joinery is not the end-all solution. If you're new to woodworking (like I was), I highly recommend you read up on wood movement until you have a good understanding of when a different type of joinery may be more appropriate for your project. You should also spend the time to watch the included DVD, as it should keep you from making critical mistakes while you learn to use the jig. This jig is for 2"x4"s and smaller. You'll need the HD jig for larger projects.THE CLAMP:I find myself using the included clamp on just about every project, regardless of whether the Kreg Jig was used or not. It is great for holding your work down while you work. I've even gone as far as purchasing 2 additional Kreg AutoMaxx clamps (self-adjusting!), and find Kreg's clamps to be the nicest I've ever used)KREG'S CUSTOMER SERVICE:Kreg's customer service is EXCELLENT. My kit came with a faulty collar (the metal piece that locks in your depth on the drill bit), which caused me to drill minor holes through the bottom of the plastic base on a couple of occasions when it slipped. However, that has not hindered the performance of the jig. I e-mailed Kreg about the problem, and they sent me a new jig in a few short days! I still have not had to use the replacement base, and have only needed the new collar.

clamp handle
I have a cabinet shop. This is the second Kreig pocket hole tool I own. The first one works just fine and is over ten years old. The second I bought mainly because it was on sale and now no one has to wait to drill pocket holes. Notice in the pictures that the older one has the clamp handle is the front of the tool. Works great, drill-unclamp-move piece and drill again. Now notice the new one with the clamp handle is the back of the tool. Who ever engineered this has not built cabinets for a living. In the center pic you can see what I am talking about. When drilling a cabinet side you can't reach the handle. What is ironic is I learned to build cabinets this was from the Manual supplied by Krieg when I bought my first one. For most homeowner woodworkers this may not be a problem, but when working on larger pieces you can see the problem. Still a good tool which I will use mainly on face frames. I will say the Kreig pilot bits are much sharper that after market bits, worth the extra money

I love this thing!
Absolutely love this thing. I do a fair amount of projects around the house including building custom pieces. When I first saw this system it peeked my interest but I didn't initially buy one. It took me a couple of years to come around. Now that I own one I can't believe I didn't buy one sooner. I recently framed a couple of walls in my house and used this to secure some of the studs. I worked terrific and the studs are very stable. I did use a framing nailer for most of it but get it in a number of places, this made the job a piece of cake. The system is easy to put together and set the proper depth for the piece you're working on. The drill comes with a donut that locks on to the drill bit with a set screw so you only drill to the correct depth. It's made of a sturdy blue plastic. The clamp is also very well made. I also ordered the Kreg SK03 Pocket-Hole Screw Kit in 5 Sizes so I would be sure to have enough screws.Kreg also sends me emails of different projects that you can use the Kreg system to build. Nice touch!Pros:Very easy to setup - comes with a dvd with step by step instructionsVery easy to useNice storage caseVery versatileCons:None
