How durable is this key?

Been in my pocket with change, usb drive and small flashlight for 3 months now with no problem.

First what are the major differences betwee the three keys? also how exactly does this work if i want to log into my bank from my pc?

The three different keys per the website handle different functions of 2 factor authentication, Basic works with the Yubico Key backend to authenticate you with your password to parties and applications that work with them. Premium does that plus is the basic YubiKey with FIDO included in the mix FIDO U2F is a industry standard recently adopted with several partners to handle 2 factor authentication. Last but not least FIDO U2F as previously is a industry standard and this key only works with that setup. As to how it works with your bank it doesn't unless your bank is setup to use either YubiKey or FIDO as part of its 2 factor authentication. As great as Yubico is unless the service supports one of several configurations that call for it (either YubiKey or FIDO U2F) the YubiKey is just a usb keyboard, it needs the backend services to reach its full potential.https://goo.gl/GL23QZRainman
