if you're working with small batches on cheap budget, it works perfectly well and simple to use. at first i was concerned that i wasn't going to be strong enough, but it pulled just fine

This is a great product, the pump mechanism is powerd by a reciprocating magnet, this allows you to accsidently suck liquids into the pump and not destroy it. A few times... I know lol. easy to use, easy to set up and the carrying case is really slick, I give it 2 thumbs up and 5 stars

It did not work at all with a Buchner funnel filtering set up. I has extremely low if any suction power at all. I would choose a different pump. On a positive note, I returned it and Amazon refunded my payment incredibly fast. Thanks very much for that.

It's decent and does the job. But the suction is on the weak side. I would have liked a stronger suction. The larger yellow attachment is not good. It's too soft, making it pinch under heavy load. The on/off switch is nice. The cord is too short.

For those of you that work in a professional chemistry lab using an oil vacuum pump don't even dream or think about getting that type of performance out of this little unit. This little unit is good for what it is pulling a slight vacuum to pull Solutions through filters but not much else the amount of vacuum power you're going to get out of this is probably about a tenth of what you would get out of a oil vacuum pump. Don't get me wrong it's good for what it is but if you have to pull a strong vacuum this is not the unit for you. Pulling a solution through a celite plug it worked okay it was just kind of slow.

It runs quite and it gets the job done. Haven't done any measurements to see how strong a vacuum it actually is pulling
