Sacred Mirrors Cards Cards – Box set, October 2, 2006

These are WAY bigger than any tarot or oracle decks I have so far. I guess I just glossed over the size description and assumed they'd be similar. I love Alex Grey and thought these would be a good alternative to his $100+ oracle cards but they literally are just printed art with poetry on the back. No complaints again as I love anything Alex Grey but just so you know they will not really work as oracle cards. The cards are very glossy and high quality as far as the artwork goes. They're beautiful but I can't imagine I'll use them much since I bought them in lieu of his oracle deck. Great collector's item for Alex Grey or CoSM fans though. Also as an aside they are not child appropriate.

Alex Grey's art is great and I'm a fan. I don't regret buying them, but to be honest they just kind of sit on my bookshelf looking pretty.

let me first say I LOVE anything Alex Grey has ever done! He is a brilliant artist that reminds us of our very souls.that said, I was kinda expecting something else here, perhaps more art like what i'm familiar with ..it was a welcomed change though.These cards each depict some level of the human form from the physical world, the skeletal body, and even the African man, and the Caucasian woman, etc...including some spiritual levels... with a poem on the reverse for perhaps a meditative reflection.

I love the different "bodies" and systems these show as well as the artwork and box. I feel like these will be helpful in my practice as a Quantum Healing practitioner.

From what I understand so far, this is Grey collaboration of fantastic measures, depicting the 20 Sacred Mirrors on display at the Entheon (their church manifestation)

As one would expect from Alex Gray the art is gorgeous on these cards. Something I did not expect was that my four year old would be so fascinated with the imagery of the human systems and that she would learn about Sophia and Jesus through comparison of the figures in the card. She looks at them often and has started drawing pictures of her in my uterus because we had a discussion about human organ systems.

Based on Anatomy these are are unique and a great addition to my collection. Fair warning though the cards do have nude individuals on them
