It's made in Charlotte, NC. They are 100% polyester. You can not break the thread with your hands. Coats & Clark thread is the best. It's all I use.

Do they make cotton covered poly thread anymore?

I am sure they do but I do not buy them.

Is this the coats & clark’s dual duty thread?

Without looking at the label I cannot say but it does look like it. All purpose thread should cover the dual duty brand.

Can I used making mask?

Yes, this is great, all purpose thread. It can be used for quilts, clothes, crafts any sewing (with fabric) you can dream up.
