Great set for lovers of Deadly 60
Good value at the reduced price I got it for, would be better if these larger sets included more animals.

Grandson loved it!
This is basically a 'Lego' type building set. It contains 2 figures: Steve and a lion (not lioness)and several plastic bags of bits and pieces to build the set and the jeep. The figures are quite small but I had seen them before so expected that.My 5 year old grandson, who requested "some Steve Backshall lego" for his birthday, was absolutely delighted with it. Construction was too complicated for the 5 year old but took his 11 year old brother a matter of minutes. The instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow.Said 5 year old was quite happy to put his separately purchased walrus; duck billed platypus; lioness; snakes; crocodile and killer whale etc. into his jungle along with Steve and the lion.Result was one very happy little boy so I can't knock it!

Steve Backshall should be ashamed!
Delivery time was excellent and when my son first opened it on his birthday he was delighted. That's about it for positive comments. The pieces are very, very small, lots of them and they don't clip together very well at all.My son loves lego and has endless patience making their items. This was too frustrating for him (he's 6). Even the animals come apart and they are only 2 or 3 pieces stuck together. Poor quality and, once made, cannot really be played with because the pieces don't stay together. Even at a tenner I would not recommend this so, for the best part of £30, I would steer clear.

not as good as lego
its nowhere near as good as actual lego - the instructions are hard to follow - my 7 year old can build any lego set but found these tricky as the instructions use faded colours to show you where to put the blocks, bit disappointed really and he has hardly played with it.

Lego Deadly 60
This product is indeed deadly, but only because it is compeletely unrealistic for a 5 yr old to read the assembly instructions and put the pieces together. Lego claim it is suitable for 5 to 12 yr old.The instructions are difficult to follow and it took 2 adults approx 6 frustrating hours to put the characters together. Said 5 yr old is now forbidden to dismantle any of the characters.Lego should review their age group recommendations. Not recommended for assembly by young children or impatient adults

Great for Deadly 60 fans
We bought this item half price and that is about how muc it worth. My son loves it, but it's very small pieces and he can't be left unsupervised with it. He has played with it all day, so it does worth the money but it's kinda flimsy and fallen apart a few times. Yet, I'm happy that we bought it as my 4 year old is very happy and excited.

Went down a storm
Purchased for my 4 and 5 year old nephews who had to open the box straight away and has continued to play with the set ever since Christmas. Disappointed it doesnt come with more animals but a winner nevertheless.
