We have 2 of these fitted front & back of the bungalow. They were easy to fit instructions were adequate, as these fitted into the space left by two other normal diverters & using the base of the old diverters leveling was not a problem make sure the outlets from the filters are inline with your water butts no kink in the pipe. Our overflows go from the butts to an under lawn feeder drainage system & to our fish pond so basicly all our water is used. They are reasonably neat even though our down pipes are fitted just off the wall, which in some ways helps in the removal of the filter basket.They work well but i have left the old gutter leaf guards in place but have taken some of the filter legs out to ease the flow of water.(Please note you will still have to clean your gutters out but not as often.) The weather of late has been a test for the gutter mates, we had 6" in 3 hours a few evenings ago which slightly dislodged them, but given the amount of water i think they did extremely well, hence 5 stars. Empty the little baskets often, which is a breeze to do, replace them carefully.These have to work well as they are part of our 1200 gallon water harvesting system Ie, irrigation, fish pond and now toilet flushing. easy to fit, and does the job. Can be used either for filling your water butt, or a simple turn of the filter, position marked, for purely filtering the debris travelling from the gutter.

We needed this to filter the rainwater coming off the garage roof into our water butt. It was easy to fit but there is also a very detailed 'how to' video on you tube on the fitting if needed. Although it filters larger bits we also bought the 'fine' filter just to make sure we were catching everything. The top lifts off for access to the filter for emptying - really easy to do.

This is actually a very good diverter but has to be downgraded to a two star product because of the very poor connecting hose supplied. The hose was made of very rigid plastic and actually split along a seam when attempting to connect it from the diverter to the water butt. This of course had to be replaced.

Using to divert water from our roof to directly fill the pond and it works really well. Not 100% of the water is diverted, but certainly most. The fine filter is effective in removing bits of moss and it's easy to remove and clean.

So simple and very affective. The previous device had no access to the filter and after the autumn fall the down pipe blocked and the gutters filled with water. I used to have to disassemble the down pipe to clear the blockage. Now the overflow is at chest level and easy to clear.

Hi,I brought this after reading up that you can physically divert the water to either your water butt or straight through.However it appears they have changed the model because in YT videos it done exactly that.But when I received it it didn’t have this facility and it would always divert to the butt then once that’s full it would back up and then flow down the gutter pipe.Although this is what most people want it’s not what I wanted and so returned for no quibble refund and purchased a more expensive item to do the job…Based on what I received it seems a bit flimsy and not worth the quote high price. Also you have to buy the finer filters if that’s what you want.

It facilitates my needs. Quality of material and design could be improved. Very fragile and so basic!
