Must have for older Mercedes owners
If you own an iCarsoft scanner and you have a Mercedes that has the multisystem port in your engine compartment fuse box this is the adaptor for you. I actually accidentally unplugged my SBS module and the warning light would not reset. My mechanic wanted to charge me for an hour of labor to reset it. I bought the iCarsoft and this adaptor and after updated the scanner online to include my older model it connected, pinpointed the problem, and allowed my to reset the warning light. Since then I have fixed a couple other things just by using the diagnostic scanner with this adaptor and doing to repair myself. Much cheaper than paying a mechanic.

iCarsoft MB V1 can only work with this. (98 MB C230 W202)
I purchased this because my iCarsoft MB V1 scanner did not work through the OBDII port under the steering wheel. As soon as I got this adapter, I used the port under the hood, and it worked perfectly. CAR: 1998 Mercedes Benz C230 - W202 chassis.

Works as advertised, BUT only with certain iCarsoft machines
One gets the impression that this adapter will work with various scanners, this is not the case. Only works with icarsoft MB V3, EU Pro, EU MAx , CR Pro (+) and CR max. May well also work with older icarsoft MB v2. The above was list was sent to me by icarsoft help center in Europe

Does not work on w208 chassis
Merc w208 chassis will not do a darn thing with this, simply does not work, can't connect to read even the simplest of DTC's.

Use the iCarSoft Red Adaptor
When using an iCarSoft scanner on a car with a round OBDII connector, you do need this adaptor as any other brand round-Dee adaptors will fit but won't work.

Didn’t work
Have had to send it back for a refund-just wouldn’t read on my Mercedes with my Reader. Plugged My Cheap adaptor back in , and my reader worked fine.

Adapter für I Carsoft v1 geht aber I Carsoft V3 läuft nicht (W202 Mopf C200)
Läuft mit den I Carsoft V1 für einen W202 Mopf C200 Aber das leuchten des ABS/BIAS konte nicht gelöscht werden . Info vom Freundlichen ABS Sensor V-R def. Ergebnis Kabelbruch/Stecker hintern Handschuhfach. Alles wieder Gut. I Carsoft v3 läuft nicht zu neu !!
