Cases By Source B1063 Blow Molded Empty Carry Case, 10.25 x 6.5 x 3.5, Interior, Black

The case itself is quite nice but the latches are flimsy and not that secure, especially if carrying heavier loads. It does have a couple of holed tabs for a small padlock or carabiner clip that would keep the lid closed and prevent the contents from falling out when the latches fail. I ended up putting a 4' cinch strap around the case to insure that it won't pop open when transporting or carrying. I am sure the latches will break off sooner or later and I will have to bolt on a more secure type of latch. If it had more robust latches, I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars, but 3 is all I can give it with the flimsy latches it comes with.

Was as solidly made as I hoped, strong, not the cheap stuff sometimes seen, but a good quality, durable plastic. Outside surface is regular, no defects or extra plastic, looks nice. Interior size was as advertised (I needed every bit for my application). The back is a real hinge, well made. The front snaps will hopefully not break for a long time (they aren't hinged, but flexible plastic). Has a hole for adding a small padlock if you want, but lets face it, these are meant to be carried so a thief can just walk off with the entire thing. After a week of use I can say I would definitely buy again. I'd post a photo, but for some reason the button doesn't work.

The case is acceptable except for the thin flimsy polypropylene latches which I don't expect will give much life under frequent everyday usage. The carrying handle is fabricated of what appears to be polystyrene plastic which can become easily fractured in abusive environments and it's not of an ergonomic design. I've owned sturdier similar cases in the past that usually came with my various mechanical instruments and/or devices. Fortunately, I'm only using this case to protect a lightweight Donegan OptiVisor Headband Magnifier which will not experience any field use. The size is a great fit for my purpose. I expect that tool case manufacturers such as Platt or Chicago Case would offer more rugged designs but at a proportionally higher cost.

The case is reasonably heavy duty with a good hinge and a strong folding handle. The locking clasps are OK and should last a long time as long as you don't pull out too hard on them when opening and closing them.

Ordered B15103 15.99 x 11. x 2.875 TWICE and both times received B1553 15.99 x 5.99 x 2.875 Until they correct the mistake I won't reorder from them. Case appears to be nice, just not big enough for what I need.

I use these to keep wrenches together in my box. I like the overall size and quality of this one. Very durable! I’ll buy this again if needed!

Love This Product! I use it to store all kinds of things. Definitely very sturdy. Locks could be better. Overall its a god case to buy.
