Good quality handles
For some reason the handles come with a metal loop on the bottom. Not something I want on my hammer handle so I just remove them.

Terrible quality, splits, sloppy holes, and terrible grain orientation/wood selection.

Worked well for my old hammer
New handle went in perfectly. Note that this is a replacement handle with preset/pre drilled holes. Will likely last another 20 years with this hammer, like the original handle. A little expensive compared to just buying a new hammer, but I prefer re using when possible.
